I am not sure about this plan.

It could work; it has to work! The demon shall not win again!

At the moment I am thinking this I hear a scuffle outside.

I am sure that something just spooked the horses, it's nothing more.

I go out to check, and I am left speechless.

The unkindness of ravens is coming towards us with murder in their red, possessed eyes.

I wasn't expecting this, I mean, I knew something was coming but this is too much.

There are too many of them, and they are making this ear-piercing sound I have only heard once before.

It is much louder and more painful since there are so many of them.

I can see that my friends' ears are bleeding and only then do I register that there is a warm liquid trickling down my face.

Oh, for God's sake, it is not here yet but it is still managing to make me bleed.

I could feel the rage bubbling in the pit of my stomach like hot lava ready to erupt.

I promised myself the devilish creature would not make me bleed again!

They shall pay for every drop of blood we have spilt because of them!

As the unkindness of ravens, - how appropriate the name is - was approaching us, the sky started turning black.

I wasn't sure if it was some kind of weather-controlling trick or was it just that there were too many of them.

Either way, it didn't look good for us; the horses and the other animals were terrified, and, to be honest, so were the people.

I felt the anger filling me with confidence and bloodthirst that I didn't know I possessed.

I was ready to fight these creatures until I kill them all because I am not dying today!

Feeling as helpless as I did ten years ago is not an option!

Gearing up, I prepared my secret weapon which might or might not work, but I was ready to fight.

I will slaughter all of them one by one, with my bare hands if I have to.

My shield is good enough, but there are still too many of them and I still remember all too well how sharp that beak is, and now there are thousands of them.

My ability, or as I like to call it - my third eye- is telling me that they will not give up; I am not sure why, but they will not give up until we are all dead.

Why is this so important to them, I mean, I am not the only person with the Sight - the third eye - however, you choose to call it.

What is the reason they are back for me?

Why is it so important for them to see MY demise and the demise of these people who are here with me?

I don't have the time to think it over, but I have a strange feeling that in the answer to that question lays the solution for our situation.

I have to try to both think and fight, which is not something I like doing.

Because when I say think I am actually talking about focusing my third eye on the problem and that is a huge challenge.

Using your third eye is emotionally and intellectually exhausting, so fighting while doing that can prove deadly, but I have no other choice.
