"I'm a queen and you still boss me around," Marisol muttered, smiling. She watched as Lady Rayla walked down the hall and suppressed the longing to go with her. Rayla would be joining up with the other seven of Marisol’s ladies. During the ceremony, Kara would officially be given to Thalia, and then Ella, Rayla, Lila, Anne, Sara and Misty would step down so that the Lady Quartet - Lady Athena, Lady Hestia, Lady Juno and Lady Sasha - could take their place. Lady Cassia would be relieved of her duties as the lonely guardian of the Eternal Gates thanks to a combined effort from the magic of several artifacts, which would allow her to monitor the Gates from a distance and return swiftly if she felt something was wrong. Thalia had also decided to post guards near the entrance to the Gate as an additional precaution.
