This is the easiest way I could compact info about what an inner world is.
In an inner world, everything has a reason to be there. That reason may be unknown. For instance, my inner world is on a beach because there was a specific beach with a VERY small "town" sitting on it I would find comfort in visiting as a child. There's a bunch of houses for each dissociated part in said inner world. The one that is "mine" resembles the house of a loved one's I spent a lot of time with when I was little.
An inner world might also be where a dissociated part tries to hide away when things are getting too stressful. This whole thing is to fit whatever the system needs.
I'm finding that it's really hard to explain an inner world. Hmm...
