"It's getting dark, you know," Victor exclaimed. "we should rest soon."
"...I guess so." I muttered. "Why don't we go back to the field we were in at first?"
"Wherever you want to go." Victor replied. We walked for a few minutes after returning to the luscious green valley. It was hard to even smell the bustling cities air anymore, as we got surrounded by the purple flowers and the smell of citrus.
That moment of warmth didn't stay for long, as I was wrapped by a blanket of cold. I could see Victor holding something back, but I couldn't tell what it was. Maybe at that point in time, it should've been obvious. The winds howled behind us, and in that evening, we fell asleep.
"Fuck... Destiny isn't back yet." My mother exclaimed. "Where could she be?" A loud knock came from the door.
"Ma'am, I'm deeply sorry, but," A small man at the door told my mother. "Destiny and the demon child have disappeared... The demon castle is also uninhabited."
"Oh my god... Where has she gone now?" My mother asked herself. Jaylene overheard the news and was left cowering in my room.
"Oh Destiny, please be okay...." She said.
"I'm sorry, Destiny," Victoria whispered. "I'm sorry I wasn't there for you."
