"Br...Brother?" Debiddo says as he stands back out of shock. "Yes, Debiddo you have a brother," Dextros says as he takes a sigh of disappointment. "Not only do you not remember what happened to me, but it seems you even forgot you had a brother." Dextros then pulls out a picture of him, Debiddo, Riza, and Debiddo's brother, Derrick all together with the brother's hands on Debiddo's head. Seeing this, Debiddo's memories start to flash through his head. "I kind of remember him, but what happened to have me and mom forget everything," Debiddo says as he starts having tears in his eyes. "I know this is a tough pill to swallow right now, especially since all this is being presented to you all at once, but right now I need to tell you about the second demon war, and what happened to both the Hikari, and Mobbure clans.
Back at the fight between Raphael and Malacoda, the fight continues intensely as Raphael continues attacking the rabid Malebranche that is striking him at every turn. Malacoda then starts throwing sharpened rocks at a rapid pace. Raphael pushes the Malebranche out the way using his flames, and then he starts deflecting and dodging the rocks using his flames that coated his fist. "Come on! That's not all you got is it?" Raphael says with a smile on his face. "Dammit, he is clearly enjoying this fight. He isn't even trying. I have no choice but to use my full power in this fight." Malacoda says as he steps back. "Release!" with saying this, the Malebranche in the surrounding area retreats to Malacoda and starts melding with his body. "Oh it seems you are finally taking this fight seriously," Raphael says as brushes off the dirt on his robe. "You kind of left me no choice in the matter," Malacoda says as he starts glowing red from the absorption. "However, now that you see me this form, I hope you don't regret making me reach this point."
A floor below Raphael and Malacoda, Kori and Roki are still fighting against the demons that Hernani is controlling. Roki, bruised and injured, jumps in the path of Kori to protect her from an attacking demon. "Roki, what do you think you are doing?" Kori says as she backs away. "I need you to save your strength princess, I don't need you to constantly burn away at your spiritual energy to fight someone like this," Roki says as she uses her flames to push away the nearby demons. "I may not have the same firepower as my cousin Raphael, but I can still make myself useful to Princess Kori." "That's so noble, but how long will you be able to keep fighting. Eventually, you will end up losing your life doing this." Hemani says as she plays her pan flute again to cause some more of the demons to run wild. "I don't care how long it takes, I will defeat you and all these demons! I will prove my worth!" Roki says as Kori looks back in shock. "Is she crazy? Someone like this I could defeat easily," Kori says to herself. She then looks at Roki and says, "why go through all this, you already are on my team, that should be enough. When It comes to proving your worth, I chose you and Crystal because both of you were worthy enough to fight alongside me."
"No disrespect princess, but that isn't enough," Roki says to Kori which makes her even more shocked. "During our time together, you have carried us through all of our missions. Yes, we got stronger due to your training, however, we couldn't show the results of it since you were right there to take out the threat easily. It's my turn to show you what I can do!" Roki then takes a deep breath, which causes the fire around her to cease. She then thinks back to when she was a kid playing with Raphael. "Raphie! Let's play again." young Roki says as she tugs on young Raphael's robe. "I can't right now Roki, My father got me training again." Young Raphael says as he pets her head. "Again? We never play like we use to." Young Roki says as she pouts. "I'm sorry, some other time." Young Raphael says as he walks away from her. That same day, young Roki wonders through the Musubi temple and hears a loud crash. She runs to the location and peak through the door where the sound was coming from. To her surprise, it was young Raphael and his father, Kasai. "Get up Raphael!" Kasai says as the young Raphael starts to cry. "We do not have weak people in our clan. If you were weak you would be in that Doro clan. Their physical Genki taint their pure flames making them useless to our clan!"
"But they are our family! Why do we treat them like this!" young Raphael screams. Kasai then slaps young Raphael and says, "If you want to continue being part of this family, you need to toss aside love and compassion. It will only make your flame weaker. Only anger and hatred can truly fuel a roaring fire! Do you understand?" Young Raphael nods his head and wipes away his tears. "Good now let's continue," Kasai says as young Roki runs away. A few years later, during the solar solstice, a tournament between all the fire users took place at the Musubi temple. In the tournament, Raphael and Roki defeat all their competition which leads them to face each other. Roki looks at her cousin with a smile. "We get to go against each other finally huh Raphie?" Roki says as she gets ready to fight. Raphael, quiet with lifeless eyes, also gets ready. The fight was short and brief as Roki is defeated and falls to the ground. "Hey what gives Raphie? You didn't have to do all that!" Roki says as she wipes the blood off her lip. Raphael then turns away from her and says. "You are too weak, you won't be able to defeat no one with that level of strength you have. Just go back to your village. You are not worthy to carry the blood of our clan!" This crushes Roki causing her to run away crying. "I'm going to prove to you Raphael, that your father was wrong...That you are wrong. With the love and compassion I have, I will overcome this threat and knock some sense back into you!" Current Roki says as her spiritual energy increases.
"This is the product of all my training! GENSO!" The flame Kori produces turns blue as she gains more spiritual energy "Aoi bara no odori! ( the dance of the blue rose.) The fire causes her to stumble a bit before she charges in. With this new transformation, she starts taking down more and more demons with her intense firepower. "Incredible, her movements and overall power have increased more than I thought it would," Kori says as she stands impressed. "But how long will she be able to do this?" Roki continues knocking down demons before runs in to attack Hernani. "Die!!!" Roki says charging in to deliver the final strike. Hernani smiles as she plays her flute again. This causes Roki to stop and start screaming in pain. "Wha...wron...my body?" She says as she struggles to stand up. "You fool," Hernani says as she walks toward Roki. "You fell into my trap the moment you started getting angry. Now you are under my song of violence!" "No—no!" Roki says as she struggles to fight the control. The more she tries to resist the harmonious tune from Hernani and her pan flute, the more she grimaced in pain. "Princ—ess, Run!" Roki says as she ultimately loses control. "Go and kill her for me!" Hernani says as Roki starts going feral and attempts to attack Kori. Kori dodges the attacks effortlessly as an enraged Roki firepower increases from every miss.
One of the punches gets by and almost hits Kori, however, Kori uses her ice to block the strike. "You are such a fool Roki," Kori says as Roki's fists start to melt the ice. She then released the ice shield and touches the forehead of Roki. "You did an awesome job protecting me. I will take care of the rest Roki, you just get some rest." Kori then uses her ice ability to completely freezes Roki and causes her to pass out. "Shimo art- Chione's lullaby," Kori says as she walks past Roki. "So you just knocked out your own comrade just like that huh?" Hernani says as she gets ready to use her pan flute again. "No matter, you will soon meet a fate worse than her." "Oh, you are talking like you are going to beat me," Kori says as the surrounding area starts to freeze. "Don't mistake this, I may have to put my subordinate to sleep, but your fate will be way worse than anything we did to the demons." "Hmph, we will see," Hernani says as she plays her pan flute. The tone of the music causes the area to shake, and a giant demon emerges from a locked door behind Hernani and roars so loud that the wind pushes Kori slightly. "Hmph," Kori says as she gives a slight smile. Back in the void, Debiddo and his father sit down on the ground as they talk to each other about the history of the Mobbure clan.
"Alright son, I'm about to tell you everything that happened with the two clans and what happened through those eight years I, and your brother were gone," Dextros says as he thinks back eight years in the past. "It all started after the great 6 clans were given an element of Genkiru, lord Ichiroun wanted a clan that could have Genkiru's light element so he got the DNA of Genkiru and placed it in the womb of a woman from a royal clan. This child became the first direct descendant of Genkiru and he wielded Genkiru's light. This man ends up creating a clan that basks and worships the light that lord Ichiround bestowed upon them. This clan was named the Hikari. A powerful clan, all demons feared the Hikari as they go out and pacify the demon threat. Because of their overall strength, Lord Ichiroun gave the Hikari the task of protecting Genkiru's heart. However, there was another problem that needed to be solved. Yami's heart gave out so much demonic energy that it was difficult to protect it. The energy started attracting demons over to the area, and also caused all the chasers who guarded it, to start getting corrupted as well. During his distribution of Genkiru's physical techniques, he stumbled on a group of impoverished people who scour through life by doing whatever it took to survive. This strong will to live impressed Lord Ichiroun, causing him to bequeath the clan Genkiru's strongest Physical attribute, Adaptation."
"Adaptation?" Debiddo asks. "Yes, the ability to adapt and learn through difficult circumstances quickly." Dextros responds. "The leader of this clan was Deji Mobbure, and with acquiring this power, the Mobbure clan was established and was given the task of protecting Yami's heart. Everything was going fine until a war broke out in which one member of the Hikari clan was murdered allegedly by a member of the Mobbure clan. The Hikari concluded that the Mobbure clan was planning to procure the heart of Genkiru so that they could use it to revive Yami and befall Limbo to an age of darkness. This fight lasted for years with no end in sight. It was then my generation time to take up the mantle as the succeeding warriors in this war, and it was when I and my team entered the Hikari territory, I found the next princess of the Hikari clan, your mother, Riza Mobbure. At first, we regularly fought each other, but after a while, we grew to like each other, and before long, we started falling in love with each other. "What kind of Romeo and Juliette crap is this?" Debiddo says as he starts to cringe. "Shut it, boy, I'm not done," Dextros remarks as punched Debiddo in the head. "Anyways, it was here we tried to get my clanbto reconcile with hers, however, it wasn't going to happen. We decided that the best way to consolidate the two clans was by marriage. We ended up getting married and having our first kid, Derrick Mobbure. Derrick was born without Riza's light attribute, which made the Hikari clan bothered, however despite this, peace was reached. A few years later Riza became pregnant with you, one who was considered to be the chosen one by Lord Ichiroun himself.
"Really?" Debiddo says shocked. "Yes Debiddo, you have the elemental ability of a Hikari, and the Physical ability of a Mobbure, but because of that power, Riza was being targeted by rogue demons who wanted your soul that lived in her uterus. To protect you, Riza went through the ritual to become human so that she could birth you without any worries of demons attacking you, and with that, you were born half-human and half divine-human, with the powers of both clans. You probably wondered why you adapted to fights rather quickly, that was because of the Mobbure clan's adaptation Genki. For ten years we taught you the Mobbure clan's fighting style just in case something tries to harm you and Riza, however, it seems that you used the fighting style to take over your school." Dextros then glares fiercely at Debiddo who looks down in embarrassment. Dextros then continues speaking, "After we taught you, we received news that the Mobbure clan and a few other clans had to participate in a fight between a large hoard of demons that supposedly wiped out the entire Hikari clan. This fight ended up becoming the second demon war, and with our adaptive abilities, we were chosen to be on the front lines. Debiddo, the next events I'm about to tell you, led to the mass killing of our clan.
