"WOOAHH, SHIT!" I screamed as I fell to the floor, caught by Artemis that suddenly appeared. "T-thanks..."

Victor landed next to me after that. "Hey, you okay?"

"Yeah..." I responded.

"WHO are YOU?" A man covered in a red scarf that looked more like a blanket, except for his face where half was covered by long, dark brown hair.

"We... are Victor and Destiny!" I announced. "We have come from another time, but cannot get back... We ask for your assistance!"

"And why shall I be inclined to help you?" The man asked.

"Because I am the demon king, and I am a grandfather of your many grandfathers. Your obedience is necessary, even though I am yet a child now." Victor announced in a very old timey way.

"Hah, you are nothing but a child! I won't let you command me..." The king said. "Pft, I will throw you out this instant!"

"Oh no, Victor..." I announced. "This isn't working the way we planned..!" At that moment, a mighty wind grew from the king's ability.

"No shit! Lets just focus on kicking this guys ass!" Victor screamed. I pull out my spear and attempted to change the king's focus while Victor performed a powerful attack with Artemis. 

"Come and get me, you old fucker!" I screamed at him, hoping for his anger. Instead, he performed a heavy all around attack, pushing Victor away as well as rendering me weak. I tried something else to get him to focus his attention on me by teleporting above him to get the king to perform an upward attack instead of an all-around attack, but he wouldn't budge.

Victor sent Artemis towards all angles but he couldn't get close enough for Artemis to perform a physical attack. Instead, Victor tried to steal the king's power source. He could see the king keeping close tabs to make sure his scarf was still on, and Victor guessed that this was the key to defeating him.

"You'll never see me coming..." Victor mumbled to himself as he dove with all his strength to get close enough to snatch the scarf, but was immediately sent flying back by the king's winds.

"YOU GOD-DAMN ANNOYING BRAT!" The king was now furious, and sent all of his power on me. With an excruciating blow to my chest, I was sent flying for at least a mile. 

"My arm... I can't... get up..." Victor trembled in defeat, and as a last resort, sent Artemis in a final attempt to destroy the king.

"Hahah... I won't let you destroy me while I'm in the middle of my most important experiment, now!" The king cackled. The question on what this experiment was barely crossed Victor's mind at that moment, but it would be very important later.
