When they were around the corner, heading back to the hotel, Saku heaved a long sigh and leaned against Suzu, as if he were completely drained.
“You were not kidding about Hina-chan! I could barely keep up with him. I haven’t seen anyone that hyper or energetic above the age of like…12!”
Suzu chuckled, moving his arm to Saku’s waist so he could help support him.
“He is a lot. But I was quite impressed by how well you did keep up. Luckily dinner should be easier since there will be plenty of other people to keep him occupied.”
“Thank goodness. Five days of that and I’d have to charge you extra.”
“That’s fair.”
When they made it up to the room, Saku seemed to have regained his energy, quickly walking into the lavish setup.
“Oh my gosh, this is gorgeous! Look at this bed, it’s almost as tall as I am!”
He climbed onto the bed, lying back comfortably.
“I could so fall asleep right now, this feels fantastic.”
Suzu sat on the edge, smiling at the redhead as he enjoyed himself, “I would think you get to experience places like this all the time.”
“Mmm yes and no. Depends on the client,” he turned on his side to face Suzu, “usually after they’ve dropped the money to rent me, they try to save on everything else. After all, they’re not out to impress me, they want me to make them look impressive. Though, there are a few returning clients that think they’re slowly winning me over.”
“You mean, you have clients trying to actually date you?”
“Well of course. I become their ideal person, and some can’t see past the illusion at the end of the date,” he shrugged, “it’s only become an issue a few times but for the most part, it becomes a guaranteed payday.”
There was a moment of awkward silence as Suzu tried to figure out how to respond to this. Obviously, he understood the nuances of Saku’s job, but something about what the redhead said made him uncomfortable. After all, he could definitely see how someone could fall for Saku. The other man was gorgeous and so far, quite enjoyable to be around. But knowing what his job was… there would be no way Suzu would wind up falling for the other. Especially in such a short amount of time.
“So, tell me, Suzu-kun,” Saku said playfully, “how shall we spend our time before dinner?”
He could feel Saku’s blue eyes look over him slowly, a seductive smirk on his face. Suzu shivered—though he was quite sure it wasn’t from fear—and swallowed nervously.
“I-Is, um, is there anything you’d like to do?”
Saku laughed and Suzu once more confirmed that he liked the sound of it.
“Darling, you’re paying me to entertain you. Not the other way around. But the idea I have involves this bed.”
He should have expected this. After all, they were alone in a bedroom that had only one bed. Hell, Saku had even asked him about his preferences earlier. And now, Saku was laying there looking beautiful, his wine-red hair falling around him and framing his face elegantly. For a moment, Suzu was completely captivated. Saku was truly unlike anyone he had ever dated.
Except, he wasn’t dating Saku.
Not really.
“I, er, I don’t think I want to do anything um…” he gestured to the bed, hoping Saku understood what he was implying.
Saku tilted his head, “Really? I mean, I explained earlier, this is all included you know. And you can’t tell me you’re not just a bit interested.”
There was one thing Suzu was definitely interested in at that moment—escaping this conversation.
“You, uh, said you were tired, right? Or at least, you did fall asleep on the train. Why don’t you take a nap and I can wake you up before we have to get ready for dinner! It’s going to be a long weekend after all.”
Saku raised an eyebrow, clearly amused by Suzu’s obviously desperate scramble for a way out of this.
“Mm, but Suzu-kun, aren’t you tired too? Maybe we could nap together,” the redhead said in a very suggestive tone.
Suzu was very sure his cheeks were on fire from how warm they felt. He was going to have to get over this. They were about to spend five days together, four of those in the same bed together at night.
But so what if things happened? Saku had implied that this was totally ok, expected even. So, if things happened… would it really be such a bad thing?
