Hello Prodigals! (Yes it's a cheesy nickname I came up with, leave me be!)

The second chapter of Prodigal Son is nearly upon us but before that - an exciting announcement!
Inksgiving on Tapas begins in two days. It is an event during which readers donate ink to creators and receive some of their donated ink back. I'm not very good at explaining stuff, but you can check this link out to find out more: https://tapas.io/newsfeed/133
I've teamed up with @Rotenkehl to spread the word of Inksgiving.

So, from Friday, Nov 20th at 3pm PST to Sunday, Nov 22nd 3pm PST, I encourage you to support Prodigal Son by donating ink for a chance to win a FREE GRAYSCALE LINEART PIECE.

It's very simple;
The person who donates the largest amount of ink within those 48 hours of the event, gets the prize!
I'm offering to draw you a single character of your choice in my style. It can be your oc, a movie character, an anime character... anything you want!
NOT gonna draw mecha and anything NSFW (for this occasion).
Furries are okay, as I've drawn furries before, but keep in mind it's not my usual field of work!
The lucky winner will be announced this Sunday when the second chapter goes up.
In case the winner does not claim their prize within a week, the prize will go to the second most generous reader and so on.
By doing this, you're supporting my work and helping me continue posting Prodigal Son for free!

Sorry if it's a stupid question, but what do creators do with the ink we donate? Can you use it for anything or is it just a symbolic gesture?
