Johnson's POV

(the next Day) I wake up by a loud noise so I look around, everyone's still asleep, but Sala7 and I. I crawl over to her and ask "what's wrong" She looks at me with fear in her eyes but she calms down a bit and says"I seen a person outside, Daddy always told me before he left 'if you see something make a noise'  " she starts backing up into the corner but I pick her up and say "Shh, everything's okay. now lets wake up the others" I walk up to Alsh and L and nudge them with my foot until they wake up, I do the same thing with the others. "it's early.. and it's still blue outside.." Ann says rubbing her eyes sitting up. "what's wrong?" Shayla asks looking up at Sala7 and I. "Sala7 seen someone or something outside" I answer her, kneeling down. Dante lifts his arms asking to be picked up "no, not moving" Dane says tiredly laying back down. I pick up Dante and stand back up. I ask if Shem can go check what was outside and he does. a little bit latter he comes back inside out of breath and says "well, some- something was out there.. but they- *sigh* they ran off so I chased them.. but they set-ed up traps and I tripped on one"  "is that a bad thing?" Dante asks looking at me "um.. Yes, if there's traps then yes, but not all the time traps mean its bad, sometimes traps mean it's good, sometimes" Shayla answers him standing up and walks towards us and pets Dante. I give Shayla Sala7 and Dante then I walk out

Shayla's POV

Johnson gives me Sala7 and Dante and I watch him walk out. "Where's Johnson going?" Sala7 asks in a sad tone "He's.. I don't know" I turn around and see that everyone's back to sleep. I feel Dante tap my arm telling me that he wants to be put down so I sit him down on my bed and let him do his thing. "Shayla?" Sala7 asks me smiling "'yeah?"  "if we can't go outside then what are we going to eat?" oh, I didn't think about that. "oh, we don't exactly know yet" 

(later that day) Shem's POV. I get back to the house and see the person again, so I put down the food I gathered "what are you doing now?" he asks. I think he meant to say that in his head "waiting!" I yell back. I pick up the food and bring it into the house and go back outside.

Shayla's POV. "who's Shem talking to outside?" Sala7 asks me "what do you mean?" I ask her "I hear Shem's voice, but I hear another persons voice too"
