Okay regarding Spinel's past I estimate that after hearing about pink diamond's 'shattering' Spinel had a mental breakdown and poofed reforming into dark spinel and went to Earth to go after Rose Quartz in hopes of avenging her diamond then some stuff happened and Rose got spinel on her side. This event happened after bismuth was bubbled and pearl was captured by Homeworld.
