Gillian and Gavin were the guests for dinner at Lucas and Lorraine’s house. Gavin had cautioned Lucas that Lorraine should do no cooking and omegas had to do all the house work. This had prompted him to recruit more help around the house. Omegas were cooking and serving the food and drinks.

Lorraine was not happy how Gavin was intimidating the omegas and scrutinising their jobs. An omega girl poured soup on the floor that got the wrath of the alpha who told her she was to sleep on the streets for an entire month after she cleaned up the mess. He was truly harsh in his sanctions. Luckily no other servants messed up.

After dinner Gillian asked Lucas if they could go to walk in the gardens leaving Gavin with Lorraine at the dinner table.

Lorraine asked “Alpha Gavin, I think our servant didnt mean for the accident to happen. Could you please reduce their punishment?”

Gavin frowned “Why do you sympathise with her. Let the omega take responsibility Lorraine.”

Lorraine said “But Alpha Gavin...”

Gavin said “There is no buts. I should have made it longer than a month really. Come to think of it, the punishment should be more severe.”

Lorraine now could see what her brother meant the other day. Gavin made it worse if anyone pleaded for those who he hated and he punished personally.

Lorraine decided to change the subject “Alpha Gavin. Do you want to go into the gardens?”

Gavin said “No.”

Lorraine said “Would you like another drink?” She then stood up “I will get a drink.”

Gavin said “Call one of the omegas to get a drink.”

Lorraine walked to the drinks table and started pouring herself a drink “I dont mind.”

Gavin stood up and walked over to her “Did you just disobey me.”

Lorraine froze “Well,...I...”

Gavin said “You just did. Don’t deny it. I asked you to let the omegas do the work but you went ahead any way.”

Lorraine clutched the glass of drink in her hand “Its just habit.”

Gavin said as he stood in front of her “Some habits need to die. I made a request and I expect you to listen.”

She looked away.

Gavin reached his hand to her face and grabbed her chin making her look upwards at him. “You are defiant. I like you fiesty. Behind closed doors you can challenge me.”

She said “I wasn’t challenging you alpha.”

Gavin said “Its Gavin to you... What do I do with a. spitfire like you. Huh?” He leaned closer and was so dangerously close. His lips were too close.

She freed her face from his grip and took a step away. She then started sipping from her drink.

Alpha Gavin didnt expect her to back away from his affections. He said “Lorraine. Why did you pull away?”

She put her drink away on the side table. “Alpha Gavin... I didnt pull away. I am just drinking. I was thirsty.” She lied.

Gavin closed the distance between them and she felt trapped as she took a step backwards and her back hit the wall. He put his hands on either side of her on the wall. He said “Really? You pulled away. You know what you did. You refused my affection..” He then leaned closer.

She said “Please alpha Gavin. Don’t.”

Gavin raised an eyebrow “What is the matter? What is it you dont want me to do? Say it.”

She breathed “Its too soon.”

Gavin said “Too soon for what?”

She said “For kissing.”

Gavin smiled “So you pulled away to stop me from kissing you. Admit it.”

She said “Yes I did.”

Gavin said “So you lied to me... Your alpha.”

She gulped.

Gavin said “Tsk tsk. You shouldn’t lie to me Lorraine. I dont like it.” He then leaned closer.

She closed her eyes “Please dont. Its too early in this relationship...”

Gavin buried his face in her neck and inhaled her scent “I love your scent Lorraine. But right now, I smell fear within you. Don’t be afraid. I wont kiss you if you are not ready for me yet.”

She opened her eyes “Really?”

Gavin pulled away slightly “Yes. I warn you now. I cant wait very long. I feel frustrated. You are my girlfriend. I am meant to show affection to you but you are not returning my affection and its frustrating me. I wont wait very long Lorraine. So prepare yourself. I wont hold back forever. I cant. I love you so much. I need to touch you and kiss you.”

Lucas was giving Gillian a tour of the gardens. They got to a swing and Gilian pushed Lucas towards it. “Sit down Lucas.”

Lucas complied and sat down. He expected her to sit next to him on the wide seat but instead she took a seat on his lap and wrapped her arms around him.

They were in quite an intimate position and Lucas had no choice but to endure her touch and look into her eyes within such close proximity.

Gillian smiled “I wish this moment could last forever. Don’t you think the same?”

Lucas lied “Yes. I do.” What was he meant to say? He wished this moment could be over?

Gillian smiled “Oh. You are so cute. Did you know how cute you are?”

Lucas smiled and didnt say anything. He just smiled politely.

Gillian said “You know I have been thinking... We finish high school this week. After the prom we are free. So its time we think of our future together.”

Lucas didnt like the sound of that at all. His future was meant to be with Kelly Anne and so was his present. Right in that moment he wished Kelly Anne could be sitting on his lap and not Gillian.

Gillian said “I feel we have advanced so much in our relationship and we must take a few steps further.”

Lucas said “Steps further? What kind of steps?”

Gillian said “What kind of steps do you think?”

Lucas said “I dont know. I am quite happy with where we are in this relationship.”

Gillian said “You seem so innocent. What do you think is the next step?”

Lucas said “I dont know.”

Gillian said “I tell you what steps I want to take. I want to know what you think and you can be honest with me.”

Lucas asked “What kind of steps are you thinking.”

Gillian bit her lip “Lucas... I think.... I think that.... I want a baby with you.”

Lucas was shocked. He felt frozen and numb. “What?”

Gillian said “You heard me. I want to get pregnant by you. I want a baby... What do you think?”

Lucas swallowed hard. The thought of having babies with anyone but Kelly Anne made him feel sick. There was no way he wanted a baby with Gillian. He said to himself. I need to change her mind. He thought hard about what to say. But his mind was blank. He just stared at her blankly.

Gillian laughed “It seems like it comes as a shock to you I see. You are so innocent. I swear. But come on Lucas. We are seventeen now. We can think of these matters. You can think of babies.”

Lucas collected his thoughts “Gillian... I... just think its too soon. Don’t you think? We are only seventeen. We are too young to be parents.”

Gillian said “My parents had me when they were both seventeen. We are not too young. Its normal. After high school we can think of babies.”

Lucas said “Well. In my opinion its too soon. We need some time before we take this step.”

Gillian gave out a frustrated sigh “But I want a baby now Lucas. You cant keep me waiting too long. I cant stand it. I am so ready to be a mother and have a baby. Imagine how powerful our babies will be...”

Lucas said “Babies? You want more than one?”

Gillian said “Of course. We can start with one and have more babies in coming years. I dont see why not. I dont understand why you dont want a baby with me yet. Am I not good enough for you?” She asked accusingly.

Lucas said “No. Its not you... Its me. I am just not ready to be a father.”

Gillian said “Don’t worry. When we have a baby my parents can help. Gavin can also be a second father to our child. I have asked him to be godfather to our baby.”

Lucas said “You have asked him to be a godfather to our baby? Don’t you think its too soon?”

Gillian sighed “Come on Lucas. You are seventeen. Start thinking as a young adult. You will make a great father and I will make a great mother. I want a baby now and the obstacle in my way is you. You wont want to be an obstacle in my way for very long. Trust me.” Her tone was almost quite threatening now.

Gillian continued “I dont like hearing no Lucas. You are my boyfriend. Its your job to help me have a baby. You must fulfil your role... or.... I will be very angry with you. You wont want to make me angry. Do you Lucas.”

Lucas said “No Gillian. I dont.”

Gillian said “Then give me a baby as soon as possible before I lose my patience.”

Lucas wanted to ask what would happen if you lose your patience but he was too afraid to ask.
