Hakon may feel that Sif is a little too dirty for him. But, many years after this, he will be bragging about being proposed to by a beautiful, well-off and very eccentric widow... ^^
(The last image is supposed to be the pin from Ottar's brooch with which he stabbed Hakon - don't know if it's apparent ^^;)

I hope you enjoyed my story! Thank you so much for reading it, everyone, and for the all your wonderful feedback <3
Next, I might make a little "Extra" page: a character sheet for Hakon!
Also, stay tuned for the next story in "Tales from the North"! :D It will be quite different, darker and more magical!
The ending is quite different from what I remembered from the first version of this story! I like how we finally get to see what drives Sif, and that she can be sympathetic despite the fact that she is a rather tricky person. So that's how she ended up married to Ottar - it wasn't even her choice! I guess she does have the freedom she's always wanted now, but at what cost...? No wonder she hated Ottar - I like how you've left it unclear whether she poisoned his drink or not. Great art as usual - I love the one where Sif and Hakon are kissing. Congrats on finishing the first story in this collection! A stunning conclusion to an amazing story.
With berserkers, trolls, magic and sword-fights, but also stark human nature, "Tales from the North" is a series of historical stories that lets you explore the Middle Ages in pursuit of the Vikings!
