Ivan Skilling solved this week's cipher, which translates to:
"The denizens of that first thread lived alongside the four. Some say it was a paradise, some say it was an inconceivable nightmare. None remain who could say for sure a day came when the denizens came to the realization that they wanted these powers of creation for themselves. They conspired, and planned, and argued, and finally came to a consensus. They would kill the four, and take their powers that way. They sent four mortal heroes off in four directions, to kill the four beasts in the lands where they rested. How they did it is nor important. Some claim it was through trickery, some say through virtue, some say through courage or raw strength and brutality. Perhaps it was a mix of all those things. Take your pick. However they did it, the mortal heroes won. They took the faces of the four beasts as masks and wore them back to their homes as trophies. Within those masks, they carried with them the power of the four. And such is how the gifts of creation became ours, why masters of thread management wear masks, and how it is that threads came to be from nothing more but our thoughts."
