"Ugh... it's soooo hot..." I groaned. "Which direction am I going now?"
"Just take a left for about 5 miles and we should be there." Owen replied. "And its only 60 degrees, you'll be fine!" I straightened my back, summoned my spear, and took off three beads that were wrapping around middle.
"Here, catch." I shouted, throwing one bead to Victor, then Owen, then Andrea. "Lets warp." Then, the world flashed between our eyes, and we were right in front of the castle.
"Hey, why don't we hop in the vents first?" Andrea asked us. "Me and Victor will wait in the vent above this dude while you guys get in."
"I guess..." I mumbled under my breath. I was so nervous, but Victor put his hand on my shoulder and told me everything would be alright. Something in my mind changed when he told me this, like Victor comforted me. My perspective of him had changed so much from when we first arrived in the future, but I still felt that my Destiny was to kill him.
"Destiny? You alright?" Owen asked me. "You looked like you were somewhere else."
"Oh, yeah, sorry!" I responded as I snapped out of my phase. "Well, we should go inside... bye Victor. Oh, and you too Andrea."
"Thanks Destiny!" Andrea cheerfully said. "Stay safe." Then, Andrea and Victor popped open the vent and climbed inside.
"Okay, Owen. Do your thing, I guess." I said.
"Why don't we hide behind a bush or something, incase guards come runnin' out, ya know?" Owen exclaimed, and we ran behind the greenery surrounding the structure as Owen pulled down the drawbridge with his ability.
"Hoooly shit." I said in astonishment at his ability. No one came out of the castle, so we quietly walked in the front hall. Suddenly, a demon appeared with no alarm, and attacked us with its long wolverine-like arms.
"WATCH OUT!" I screamed, ducking my head as the demon lunged at me and headed straight for Owen. There wasn't anything for Owen to use, and he was backed into a corner.
Before the demon even could get a finger on Owen, I pulled out my spear and stabbed it in the back. "FUCK YOU!" I screamed, letting out all my anger and aggression.
"Hey, you alright?" Owen asked me in a shriveled, cracked, and nervous voice.
"Yeah..." I responded. "How about you?
"Yeah, I'm good." He said to me. "We should get out of here, fast, before backup gets sent."
"Yeah, thats probably a good idea." I replied, as we quietly ran down the corridors towards the throne room.
