The Alphas and the Moon

He's Our Mate

He's Our Mate

Dec 14, 2020

"A rogue!" one of them yelled. The rest growled at me as their eyes glowed and their fangs came out.

With their glowing eyes and their strong auras for blood, I was frozen in spot. The atmosphere was coated with a thick layer of intensity. My face couldn’t help but tremble in fear.

Their stance was screaming "kill" but I only gave out the aura of surrender. I couldn't imagine battling about a dozen werewolves at a time. It’s not like I couldn’t defeat everyone, it’s just I'm not sure if I want to start a fight on my first day here.

A wave of stronger auras entered the room. Their mere presence made everyone else’s focus falter, including me. My knees began to wobble but regained their strength when I figured out who the people were.

My mates.

"No, he's not a rogue," I heard Aaron say as he walked in, Stephen was following him. With one look at their allies, the once enraged wolves retreated their fangs and looked down in submission.

“He’s your Luna,” my blonde mate said. He gave me a gentle pat on my shoulder, to which I melted into.

"What?" the boy asked. I realized that he was the slender boy when they first met me. The boy with a high-pitched voice but the feel of his power was strong.

"Erwin, he's our mate," Stephen said. Both of my mates sat on the stools on either side of me. "Our beautiful mate."

They were shocked for a moment but then sat on the sofa in the living room, watching something on the TV. I know they're still confused but they trust in their alphas. They knew Aaron and Stephen will explain everything soon.

Of course, Erwin's eyes did not leave me. He was still glaring as if I would do something evil. My mates gave him a gaze to which decreased the intensity of his scowl.

One look and Aaron and Stephen can make anyone submit. Even a strong wolf like Erwin.

I felt two different arms wrap around my waist. They pulled me back so I would sit on the stool in the middle. The moment my butt sat on the chair, my mates found themselves sniffing me.

When I looked at them, Aaron spoke, "Babe, what do we smell like?"

His eyes were glowing and stop glowing alternately. It was as if he was stopping a surge of something inside him. I could see that Stephen was the same. It only stopped when I gave them my answer.

"Babies," I replied. Kaitlyn chuckled and handed me the sandwich to which I gladly ate. "I haven't really smelled babies before, but I read about them in a book. You,” I looked at Aaron, “smell like lavender and strawberry."

"What about me?" Stephen asked.

"Daffodils and lumber."

"What?" Stephen asked as he raised his eyebrows.

I shrugged before Kaitlyn smiled and dragged me away from my mates. They were starting to get touchy again. Her soft grip didn’t waver even after my mates growled. Of all the people in this house – or should I say, mansion, Kaitlyn is the only person that does not submit to her alphas.

Probably because she could par them in terms of strength. She was to be the alpha if she hadn’t renounced the title.

I looked back and gloomed when the sting of pain because of distance hit me as we walked outside the kitchen door. It was bearable but still aches. I'm not upset though. Kaitlyn is just looking out for me and I understand her.

"Do you live alone?" Kaitlyn asked. She was holding a Ziploc bag with a sandwich inside on her left hand while her other hand was holding my wrist.

"No, I live with- Oh my naked goddess. Olivia!" I gasped in shock. As if on cue, a strong gust of wind made the leaves of the trees sway as the sky darkened.

The windows shook and birds flew away in panic. I could see a bright purplish light in the middle of the forest coming our way and instantly knew it was her. Streaks of lightning hit the spot where the light was.

"Where is he?" Olivia's voice echoed throughout the entire woods. The thunders roared as sparks of lightning lit up the sky. A few more lightning hit the glow in the middle of the forest and an angry scream shook the ground.

I went to the front door with my mates, Kaitlyn, and the others. Their eyes were glowing, fangs are coming out and their killing intent started to fill the air.

But the killing intent of the woman inside the forest was way stronger.

If I estimate it, her aura could reach up to the next city from here. She was, after all, a very strong woman. She fought an enchanted bull alone once. And was only using her physical strength.

"Olivia! I'm here, I'm here," I frantically shouted as I waved my hands in the air.

"Oh, my lord goddess." Out of nowhere. she appeared in front of me. Little sparkles of glitter covering her as she gave me a warm hug. "I thought I lost you."

The sky brightened. The thick dark clouds dissipated as the wind blew softer. The birds calmed down, tweeting their harmonious melodies again.

I hugged Olivia back. To be quite honest, my mates trailing their hands all over me was out of this galaxy, but Olivia's motherly love hits exactly good in a different way. It's warm and homey.

Stephen gave out a soft cough. I broke the hug and chuckled, "Olivia, these are Aaron and Stephen," I said to her as I went in between the two. Their eyes widened in surprise when I held their hands, "My, uh-"

"Mates," she cut me off and smiled. "The way they look at you and the way you look at them says it all. Plus, I can read your mind." Olivia winked before grinning from ear to ear.

She is one heck of a clairvoyant.

Where have you been?

Can't a wolf sleep in peace?

We'll talk about this later.

Whatever. Was all Klint said before blocking me.
