"You... shits..!" the king mumbled on top of the pillar. He used all of his energy blowing the pillar off of him, but suddenly realized his robe had been lit on fire. "what... what the hell dad!?" he screamed, and franticly squirmed out of his robe.
"You're going down." I said, distracting him from Andrea who was sneaking up behind him. A wild roar came from behind him, as a panther broke his fragile bones.
"You're using the curse you gave me against me?" The king questioned, but we didn't understand what he meant. "You are a terrible father... and you always will be!"
He came to his last resort, just like Victor, and sent out Artemis to protect himself.
"How the hell can he use Artemis!?" I screamed to Victor. "Is this you in the future or something?"
"I-" Victor stuttered. "No... it can't be..."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"That's..." Owen stuttered as well out of shock. "That's Victor's son in the future."
"He's right," Victor confirmed. "That's the only answer. I couldn't be alive, and Artemis is my ability."
"Oh, you do pass on abilities..." I wondered. Then, the future Artemis dashed at us with its soulless red eyes.
"Watch out, it's on us!" Owen yelled, dodging its sword attack. "It's ruthless!" We jumped away from it, not noticing the king fleeing the battle. It attacked me, but I blocked it with my spear and counter attacked. It bones cracked and it fell to the ground, losing form and becoming a broken skeleton.
"Hey, where's..." Victor began to say. "That assholes gone!" Andrea shifted back to her human form and began to sprint out the main hall backdoor.
"Come back here, you little shit!" She screamed at the top of her lungs, shifting again as she ran. Once she was in her full form, she ran superhuman speeds.
"Ugh, this is bad news." I said as we followed Andrea. "I hope she doesn't meet the guard..."
"She'll be fine, she's pretty strong in her panther form." Victor reassured. When we found Andrea, she had cornered the king.
"Whatever you're doing, I'm going to put an end to it." She exclaimed in front of the kings eyes. "Oh, guys!"
"Hey, you aren't hurt or anything, right?" I asked.
"No, I'm fine..." She responded. "But we have to kill this guy. He's trying to make new demons!"
"What..?" I was freaking out at the thought. It could change the future if he reinvented demons, in a terrible way.
"It's obvious that I abolished demon transformations." Victor stated. "I don't know how you turned out like this, but you are a terrible person." Victor was furious with the fact that this was the child he had technically raised.
"Victor, you know that's not even your kid." Owen said. "We don't even know what you were like in the future."
"We still need him dead though." I exclaimed. "Victor..?" I held my spear out.
"You're right, Destiny." Victor said as he grabbed the spear from my hands and it turned from the glowing, angelic white to a bloody black.
"Please, dad..." The king begged, but it was two late.
A sharp, pained, shriek was heard. Then, it was silent as the smell of blood filled the room.
