“There is one more thing that I wish to know.”
“Hmm? What is it?”
“About the Countess, how did former mercenary who retired to be a tavern’s owner become a wife of the Count?”
“Ah, you see...probably around year ago maybe? The Emperor’s Conquest was just ended. Under the Emperor’s leading, all the nobles and aristocrats are to clean up the remaining resistance force to achieve the national defense. After that is a struggles of the Civil War between The Imperial Army and Revolution Army or in the other name is Remnants of the defeated armies.”
“So they met in the war?”
“Not really, you see... Divona was already retired from being a mercenary and running a tavern in a remote village at that time. Coincidentally one mountain away from the village, the Count army was fighting one of the Revolution Army. And he lost! Well, not really...the enemies created a diversion and sent a sneak unit to attack the head quarter you see, his subordinates are stayed behind to stop the enemies while he escaping through the mountain. And that’s when Divona found him leaning on her tavern’s front door you see, she help him…they fall in love...they do the thing, blah blah blah... the Civil War ended, he come to offer her a hand in marriage, and we’re here!! That’s it!”
“I see, then what happened to his army after that?”
“Ah? That, you see. Since they resort a diversion it mean that they can’t win fighting face to face, but since the Count’s army lacks a commander who is the Count who had to flee into a mountain the battle became a stalemate. The Count’s army are strong individual but lacks commander while the enemies are lacks in strength and numbers but have command to put up a fight. In the end the Count’s army won because the Count escaped and call for reinforcements.”
"I see."
"Uweee!!"
"There she go again, this little baby cry everytimes when she waking up."
"Who knows, maybe because we talking too loud"
"Ha ha, good one."
