Zack stood motionlessly still in a vacant white terrain devoid of life and color. He hasn't moved an inch since he arrived in the empty world for some unknown reason.
He stood absolutely frozen in place like a mannequin in a shop window with his eyes shut, unaware of what was about to occur within the mysterious void.
He was still breathing; however, his attire was gravely damaged when he was abducted from the planet earth. He wore nothing but the remains of a scorch superhero unitard he used previously in his world as a stunt performer.
Suddenly, Zack felt someone intoning his name from the depths of his mind, as he then opens his eyes slightly in response to the unusual phenomenon.
"Who are you?" Zack answered stiffly in a dream-like stupor as he couldn't process what was going on at the moment.
What stood before him was a blur of an elderly male figure. He blinks slowly as his eyes try to adjust to the brightness of the world. Zack finally exposes his eyes a second time and sees an elderly male much clear than earlier.
The hermit male was 9-foot and 7 inches tall and seemed to be between 60 and 78 years of age, with long grey hair and Dumbledore's beard reaching down to his torso. He wore a plaid white roman toga that concealed his feet as it mixes into the white foreground.
"Do not be alarmed, Mister Anderson- I'm Arell God of Creation and King of the Aalok Gods.
Arell spoke politely to Zack, trying not to startle the modern being. Zack stares at Arell with a dumbfounded nod.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Mister Arell! My name is Zack Anderson from the planet earth, but I suppose you already know that! "Where are we exactly?"
Zack responded justly with an awkward grin, exhibiting no sign of resentment towards the King of gods.
He looked at a person who was embodying a fictional character from a Japanese manga or light novel as the Aalok continues with his conversation with Zack.
"I regret to inform you. Mister Anderson, but you perished in a fatal on-stage explosion. Due to faulty hardware and equipment mismanaged during your stage performance."
"Many bystanders, including your attendances, were severely injured or consumed by the massive flames that enveloped the platform," Arell replied with a mournful expression place upon his long grey beard.
I was only able to resurrect you from the catastrophe.
"Zack, I brought you here today from your universe to ask you to rescue my creations from the Evil Demon God, Demise.
Who seals the other Aalok Gods and me in this pocket dimension prison, where we can't escape and have little interference with mortal worlds.
Even now, I use the remainder of my powers to bring you here from the planet earth. To convince you to reclaim my universe and release my fellow gods from their impregnable prison.
Zack still in a feeble state; he hadn't fully recovered after being brought to Arell dimensional world. His moment was sluggish, and his thought process was barely keeping up with the discussion having with Aalok God.
"Wait, isn't this isekai trope?
A genre built on magic and addresses in anime and fictional novels. Where gods from a different universe select individual people like me from the modern world. Mostly assist them in modernizing aboriginal world's or save a great catastrophe. Zack thought
"I understand.
However, that not why I summon you to my world. Arell reveals to Zack with a worrisome expression place his face.
