Susana
Mom was so annoying. It was two days after the Island house speech, and now we were going to play games and get to know each other. My mother was trying to get me to wear a pretty dress. "How about your Navy ball gown? Or maybe your green ball gown?" "Mom." I whined. She stepped out of my closet. "Why can't I just wear a simple day dress?" I asked, whining. She shook her finger. "I will hear none of that. Now pick. Prussian blue, navy, or green?" I groaned. "Green." She smiled. She pulled out a green dress that was all heavy and puffy. It hand no straps to keep it up. It looked like the straps that hung off the shoulder would hold it up would help, but they didn't. The farther down you went on the dress the lighter the green got until it was white. It was decorated with embroidered leaves.
"If I'm wearing this no corset." I argued. "Fine." I took off my day dress, and put on the gown. It was very heavy, and I had to hold it up to walk. Not to mention the heels were an inch long. Going up and down stairs would be torture. After adjustments to my lipstick we went downstairs to the parlor.
The boys were there wearing casual attire. "Mom I'm the only one dressed up." I whined. She shrugged and left. I quickly took a seat in one of the comfy chair and avoided looking at the boys. "Wow Susana. You look nice for once." Nicholas said, grinning. "Oh I oughta . . . You see I would slap you but this dress is too heavy and has no support." I huffed. He got up and walked over to me. He walked with the grace of a practiced dancer. His brown hair was still untamed. He knelt in front of me. "I'll give you one good slap then." I grinned and slapped him as hard as I could, knowing he could barely feel pain because he was a vampire. He winced. "Shit." I groaned. My hand hurt like hell. I ran my fingers over it gingerly.
"P-princess. Your dress." I looked down. My dress had slipped out of place, revealing more cleavage than necessary. I tugged my dress back into place. This was so embarrassing. I could almost guarantee I was very red and sweating. "Girl you hit hard. You will definitely be able to defend yourself." Nicholas praised. I grinned. "Of course I hit hard. It's a gift for having to deal with you. Anyways, I know Nic well enough, but I barely know the rest of you."
"That's not fair princess. I've seen you multiple times and you don't remember me." Arthur pouted. It looked sexy on him. With his jet black hair he looked like a pouting puppy. "I remember your name, Arthur. But not much else. I. . . wasn't interested then." My mind wandered to Timothy. "So you're interested now?" Arthur's question caught me off guard. Was I interested? Did I want them? "I don't know. . . I guess so . . . I'm not sure. I feel so confused." I answered truthfully.
"So you're only interested in Arthur or what?" Edward asked. I groaned. "I think all of you are really cute, but my heart. . . Is somewhere else right now. I'm sorry." The men remained unfazed. "We know. . . We know about Timothy. Can we meet him?" Thomas asked. I looked at him shocked. This was the first time I heard him speak. "Sure. I'd have to ask my father, if he can take his leave. He is now my father's personal guard." I jumped up, and left the room.
I finally had a good excuse to drag Timothy away. We might even be able to spend some time together.
