Sage never made it back in that night to the clubhouse. After Matt bonded with him he passed out from the pain. Matt, still in a panic, tossed him in the back of his truck and drove home.

"Wake up." Spoke Matt smacking the side of Sage's face.

Sage jolted back with the sudden hit. Pushing himself into the wall behind him quickly looking around the room. It was dim so he couldn't make out many details. The sound of scraping metal echoed in his ears. His ankle was shackled to the floor, the chain already pulling at his leg.

"There we are." Spoke Matt kneeling in front of Sage. Gripping the bottom of his chin tight in his hand, squeezing. "Did we have a good nap?"

Smacking Sage again when he didn't answer the first time. "I said did we have a good nap?"

Nodding his head, yes.

"Good." He squatted a bit lower. "I've been thinking and I think I have it all figured out." His tone was twisted as ever.

Sage darted his eyes away but Matt just jerked his head back to look at him every time he did. The air in the room grew thicker as he went, dosing Sage with fear. Breath panting under the thickness, feeling like he couldn't breathe.

"Most of it falls on you. So you better pay attention the better you are at this the better off Colt will be. You fuck up in the slightest and he's done. It won't just be his daddy that dies it will be him you hear me."

Sage didn't want anyone to die. He knew Matt wasn't lying when he said it either, he had the look. The same look he's seen in Patrick's eyes when he said he killed someone and he did. Never faulting on those promises.

"You're going to play the happy little omega you've been since coming here, okay. If anyone asks, things just happened to work out well for you. I showed my interests and it turns out we're fated."

Fated! There was no way in hell the two of them were fated mates. Fated mates were just a myth to begin with. There was no such thing as the perfect match. Soul mates of sorts but ones that found each other over and over again. 

Life after life. 

"Maybe if you play nice enough I'll let you keep that little job of yours. As for now though you'll be kept in here till I see fit. My little play toy!" Matt licked his lips at the thought.

Patrick already had plans to sell Sage off once he came to be in his possession again; one final sale for him. One that would end his life. A sale to kill. Patrick had laughed at what Matt did to Sage feeding off the pain he knew Sage was going to be in from it. He loved it. Agreeing that killing him would throw up too many flags for the time being but he needed to make sure the boy didn't talk.

Promising to hurt Colt at any sign of a slip up from him. Making Sage feel like he was the only one that held Colt's fate in his hands. Leaning in close to his ear making sure he fully understood the dynamics of this.

"You be a good toy for me and do as I tell you. Patrick has given me full range with you so I wouldn't tempt me." Matt throwing a quick jab into his ribs just for the hell of it.

Sage yelled out in pain. Crying as Matt left the room. If he couldn't breathe before he really couldn't now.

He didn't know how much time had passed before Matt came back. The smirk on his face showed he wasn't up to any good and he wasn't. It had been so long since Matt had his own personal toy. Not lying when Patrick gave him the green light to do as he pleased with Sage.

Matt saw how over time Sage had started to gain confidence in his new life here and he loved the thought of ripping that away from him. Taking the next week to do just that. Enjoying every moment of it too. Beating him over and over for his own pleasure. When he cried out in pain it only made things better for him. Whispering into his ear with every hit just how worthless he really was. How no one has asked about him, not even Colt. Matt feeding him nothing but lies. Food and water were privileges he had yet to earn.

Matt didn't have to do any of this. Sage couldn't go against him as his bonded alpha he was obligated to do as asked of him. Play the role he wanted; the happy omega. It wouldn't be the first time he had to be something he wasn't. If there was any concern that Sage would step out against him that was covered by the threats placed on Colt's life.

Curled up into a ball on the cold floor after Matt left him. His clothes were torn from his body days ago now covered in bruises and bleeding. His backside throbbing in pain from Matt forcing himself inside him. Wishing he was back with Patrick. At least there he would be so high out of his mind that none of this would matter to him anymore.
