Why can't I breathe?

the air around me stifles

I can't breathe

it feels like fire

I cry, but I'm drowning in them

Why can't I talk? 

my lungs constrict and everything around me fades away

I can't talk

It feels like a hand is on my throat 

Why can't I escape?

I try to brake free 

but I can't

I look back to see a rope tied to me

I can't escape

There is no getting out of here

The rope drags me down into a inky black abyss

It fills my lungs

I reach for my throat and gag in response

Air leaves me

Now I know there is NO escape.

"Please...." I think to myself, "Don't make me suffer..."

I loose conscious as the black abyss closes in around me

The light above me slowly fades away.

   Only one thought occurred to me before the dimming of the lights completely.

   Now I know.... There really is NO escape.
