Perspectives on all protagonists

Ade woke to the sound of bickering; he immediately gripped his skull. Slowly adjusting to his environment Ade realised that he was indeed still in this strange place. It was not a dream? Slowly rising he looked around him, lillina was being cuddled my Addie and she seemed to be crying. Some boys he did not recognise was in a yelling match with Rylee another two people he did not recognise sat by a fire silently. Addie looked in his direction before placing Addie next to the strangers and conversing with them for a second. They also quickly looked in his direction.

“both of you that enough Ade is awake,” Addie yelled at the two fighting who quickly lowered the fists that they had raised and looked startled in his direction. He was very proud of Addie for standing up the way she did and its clear that everyone listened to her. What had happened while he was asleep? “sorry about them they have been at it for a couple days, how are you feeling,” days Ade spluttered, how long had he been out? “Ade are you alright, its been at least four days since you fell unconscious you should take it easy,” she seemed concerned, Ade nodded his head but truly he was finding it very hard to grasp.

“I’m okay I just didn’t realise I was out for that long; I’m starting to remember what happened, who are all these people and what happened to the wolf,” he asked looking around once more but stopping on the boy who had been fighting with Rylee. He had his hand raised to his neck and a guilty look in his eyes. He recognised the aura but how was that possible, his aura seemed to human in the beginning but still it was unfathomable. “you, you’re the wolf how is that possible,” the boy came closer while slowly raising his hands up.

“I don’t know how I change into an animal like that but I’m getting control of it and I’m ah really really sorry I was not really in control,” Ivan said approaching the man as if he was a wild animal, he looked quickly over to Edan and then lillina who both watched him in curiosity. Once Ivan was stood still a short distance from where ade ley anxiously awaiting a reply Ade turned towards Addie and they seemed to talk with their eyes before they both looked back over to him. Ade nodded before slowly getting up and walking towards Ivan “you shouldn’t be up you just woke up,” he mumbled before he felt a harsh slap on the back of the head. Ade smiled and put his hand out for Ivan to take.

“look kid you seem alright I knew from the start that you had good intentions, were good,” Ivan let out a sunken breath as the man spoke and took his extended hand. “now there are three people here that I have never met in my life including you boy, would you like to introduce me,” Ade asked observing as Ivan left him bounding towards the other strangers. He seemed to have bounced back quick talking to the other boy and lillina. Soon they walked back towards him Lillina perched on Ivan’s hip.

“My name is Ivan I can ah shift into any animal I want to I think but I’ve only ever shifted into a wolf and a bear, This is Fenya she does not feel pain and this is Edan I found him in the forest two days ago he’s told us that he is part deer, and can grow wings and he’s from this world,” the boys speech became louder as he went on and his movements jumpier like he was excided and Ade also looked towards Edan and saw a small blush on his cheeks. He got the other two to shake his hand while he read their aura’s before focusing his attention on Edan.

“you are from this world right,’’ Edan nodded hoping his difference would not be held on him “tell me everything you know.”

“well, uah, we are probably in trouble if the king finds out that you all exist and that I’m still alive,” Edan had wondered why he said that first. “the king he is a powerful man they say that his ability rivals that of the legends that our world runs on,” he quickly glanced over to Ivan when he saw movement lillina was buried into his side shaking her head, he immediately attempted to apologize but Ivan just walked away with lillina to calm her down. “this world is based on the abilities each person has, most abilities are indicated on a person’s wrist in their veins, no one really knows how this came to be,” Ade had placed a hand on his chin as he continued. “and ah for that reason the king is seen as a major figure who no one messes with and I have a feeling that staying in one place for to long is a really good way to get found, besides, we need more supplies, and we need to find out why you guys are here,” he was talking to fast to breath, so Ade placed a warm hand on his shoulder.

“breath, your right its time to leave here, we need to get food and find out how to get home,” we leave in three days,” Ade announced so that the whole group would here while Fenya who had become resident cook handed him some food and water in leaves. Fear rose in Edans throat they really did not have a clue what they were in for in this world.
