1. If a pokemon is fainted it is considered dead and must be boxed.
2. No items in battles allowed
3. Once you enter a gym or story based area you cannot leave until completed.
4. First encounter on a route or area can be caught. If it faints you move on.
5. Duplicates can be rerolled once, if you encounter the same pokemon again you cannot catch it.
