"LARSOLIS!... LARSOLIS! Your phoenix is out of control!" Aerimber barked
"Oh?"
"Don't play coy with me! " the weather goddess snapped, "Two of my three champions have fallen to your pet!"
"They don't sound much like champions then." Larsolis huffed in amusement.
"What's another scar, ey?!" Axis laughed as he swiped a hand over his new injuries, smearing the blood.
His body was covered in small cuts, with a sizable burn on his hip. The world had been an unforgiving place over the last few months, and he continued to walk the line of insanity.
"Where, oh, where should I go?!" Axis pressed as his flames flickered chaotically around him. "Maybe, I should find a town to burn!" he chimed, "No, no, no!" he growled, "Not everyone is an asshole..." he relented before his eyes lit up again, "Just most of them!" he chimed, and he looked to the sky with a hollowness falling over him.
"But I don't want my phoenix to burn out just yet..." Larsolis sighed.
"Do you want to be a monster?" a voice hummed, and a tidal wave of fire exploded from Axis.
"What do you want, Pervy God?" Axis sang while cocking his head to the side to find Larsolis with his wings wrapped around himself as a shield.
"What do you want?" Larsolis echoed sternly as he tucked his wings against his back. "Do you want to be a monster?"
"I don't care anymore!" Axis spat as the god sighed before vanishing.
