The world of Paradise is not a normal one. After a battle between the mortals and demons known as the Blood Genocide occurs, the demons and their leader Nova make it their duty to bring true hell to the mortals of Paradise and the gods who look over them after Uni, goddess of all, had locked the demons away in the void, putting them in an eternal darkness.
A young girl named Ocho and her friend Keji know this story all too well but during their reading something happens causing them to split.
Many years later, Ocho wakes up from a strange dream and learns she has awaken in a place known as the Central District and her best friend, Keji, is nowhere to be found. Not only is she in an unfamiliar place but demons suddenly appear once again to set the mortals into panic. Now Ocho must fight demons alongside her new allies, and find out what happened between her and Keji and much more.
