This one's an experiment. I'm trying out a new art program to see how long it takes to make comics, and how good they are. I may continue to use it for another week or two before I decide whether or not to keep to this.
Please feel free to comment with your opinions of how the comic looks compared to the last few weeks!
Halftone City.
Superheroes and supervillains duke it out every night here, causing untold property damage, a PR nightmare, and plenty of civilian casualties. Between that and your typical everyday street crime that goes beneath the notice of most superheroes, you don't want to live here, let alone work in the Police Department.
So who exactly is brave or crazy enough to take the HCPD night shift?
One hard-drinking, hard-smoking detective trying to change his ways from Noir to Nice guy;
One alien from a species that accidentally almost tried to take over the world;
One beat cop laced with macabre cheer who never goes a minute without a smile come hell or high water;
And a rookie who really likes keeping her internet friends updated with the day's selfie snapshots.
And these poor suckers have to deal with supervillains alongside your typical every-day street crime? Great. They're doing great. Couldn't possibly be better.
