At the center of the village were women and kids also elderly people. The Taczers ordered them to hold their old coin purse and from a line.

Everyone was scared of the Taczers, they always would bully someone or make damage in the village and still money from the villagers.

They were soldiers that were assigned to collect the taxes from villages and small towns. Their official name is Imperial Taczer Platoon, sometimes only Taczers.

But the people call them Imperial bandits because they still the money from the people and use them for themselves.

Galied was going to understand why they were in the village. From the Window could see the center of the village.

ALexander was watching what were the Taczers doing to the villagers. Nara was sitting and watching her father from the window.

,, Nara these are soldiers, but they collect only the taxes, right?'' Asked Frederick.

Nara replied only with,, Yes''.

While Frederick was watching he could see the villagers' faces, they look pale and frightened.

When Galied arrived at the center, one of the Taczers looked at him and yelled at him.

,, Hey, old chef come to hear!'' yelled the Taczer.

The Taczer that yelled at Galied was the leader of the Taczers. Galied was looked at him with a cold face, but his eyes could tell that he was scared.

,, Sir Antony why did you come back, we paid the taxes for this month? '' Said Chef Galied.

Antony the leader of the Taczers, had a contempt face on him when he heard Galied, He turned his eyes at the villagers.

,, The taxes have raised, that's a new law that the future empress made., So pay now or!...the villagers will face consequences.'' Said Antony.

He holds the scabbard and pointed with his hand at the villagers. Galied was frustrated.

Frederick was watching them how they were arguing, Nara was scared and was shaking a little.

,, (If I interfere I could make enemies from them even from the government. But if this escalates then I will have an advantage from this, in some way. But why do I care? My head hurts much and the operation failed. Now I can die, at least I tried.). Nara stop shaking, your father holds the situation under control'' Said Frederick.

She looked at him like a little scared child that watched a horror movie, ready to cry.

,, H-How do you know that he holds the s-situation under control?'' Said, Nara.

Frederick looked at her with a serious boring face and drinks a little water to clear his throat.

Nara got a little angry at Frederick. She thought he was joking. She stands up and was going to slap.

,, Wait, look.'' Said, Frederick.

Just about to slap him on the face, he told her to look from the window at them.

The situation was going to escalate Antony pushed Galied at the villagers to join the line. Nara was just about to start to cry.

Frederick had two plans

PLAN 1

The first plan was to do ''nothing''. if the situation doesn't' escalate.

PLAN 2

The second plan was to intervene only if the situation escalates, and calms the two sides, if possible. If not then he will help the villagers.

Frederick told Nara to stay in the room and watch will happen.

He went to the situation. The Taczers were taking the last money from the villagers.

Taczer Antony was laughing at the villagers and saying to them,, Lower class, inferiors, etc.''

The villagers were so revolted by that. The men were hunting, so no one could help them.

Antony was grinning at one girl. He wanted to take her from the line from the other villagers.

The girl was refusing, so he got angry and slap her in the face. She was looking down and spit on him.

He tried to hit her but, someones yelled.

,, Heyyy, does is someone sick?!'' yelled Frederick.

Antony looked at the man that he yelled.

,, ( Now, who the heck is this kid?)'' said to himself, Antony.

Everyone was looking at Frederick, confused, they were looking at him. Frederick went straight at Antony, the Taczers were signaled by Antony not to block the kid's path.

,, Who are you kid? Go home to your parents ahhaha!'' Said Antony.

When he started to laugh the other Taczers joined him. They were laughing like hyenas.

,, AHAHAHAHAahaaaaaaaaa...AAAAA. I'm not *kid*, I'm 22 years old. Now dear sir. What is this about, why are they in line? haha, you made them make a line like for shooting.'' Said, Frederick.

Frederick interrupted everyone with his terrible laugh. Like some psychopath was laughing.

,, I didn't understand you all. How can you be 22 years old, you look so young. Well, whatever we are here to collect the tax for this month and the next.'' Said Antony.

Frederick looked at a disturbing smile that gave a scary aura. Antony and the others could feel that aura.

,, Good. Well didn't they pay you? But, you said they need to pay and for the next month. Then why don't they pay for the next month, but only for the money that they have enough.'' Said, Frederick.

Antony changed his expression to serious. Telling him not to order him what should he do. Frederick took Antony's hand. Antony wanted to pull his hair.

,, Stop, you inferior human. It looks like you didn't quite understand me. Leave this village alone or you will face consequences.'' Said, Frederick.

Antony got frustrated enough to take his sword cut Frederick's head. But that would ruin his *pride*, and his loyalty to the new empress.

,, I challenge you to a duel. In the name of the future empress Gloria. If I win all villagers will become slaves!'' Said Antony.

Frederick had an expression like that he wasn't interested at all. He just was itching his neck behind.

The villagers were really scared some kids started to cry. Galied asked him to help them.

,, Hmm, you want a duel with me, hmm no'' Said Frederick

Everyone got shocked by what Frederick said. Antony got revolted by the refusal of the duel.

,, Wh-Why not!? You don't want to help them, don't play with me!'' Said Antony.

Frederick took a deep breath. He looked at the villagers. They were looking with their eyes and begging him. He could see that in their eyes.

,, Well why should I really help them, they are lower class than you are. I will mostly join your side, sir. But, if I accept this *duel* will you leave this village at peace and never make problems?'' Asked Frederick.

Frederick once again confused everyone, now no one knew what he was saying.

,, well yeah. That's true, you look like some aristocratic kid. And yes if you accept and win the duel, kiddo'' Said Antony.

Frederick sighed while looking on down at his shoes. He looked up and gazed at Antony.

Antony was thinking that Frederick was just a crazy person.

,, I accept the duel'' Said Frederick.

The Taczers circled the two of them, the villagers were looking behind the Taczers.

Antony took out his sword and holding it with his two hands. Frederick was staying there and looking at Antony.

,, ( He really is crazy, in a duel without a sword, huh. This will be over fast.)'' Said Antony.

Fredrick was blocking Antony's way to attack with his hands. The villagers were looking at Frederick and thinking that he is stupid and crazy.

The Taczer Antony started to run towards Fredrick to cut his head. Frederick was just going back little by little. With nothing to fight or protect.

The sword lifts on the right and with full speed was Antony going to cut Frederick's head.

The sword fell on the ground, everyone was surprised what happened. Antony fell to the ground. Frederick just hit his neck.

Antony was still alive, but couldn't move and fell unconscious.

,, (He isn't a hu-)'' Antony fell unconscious.

Frederick won the duel. The Tazcers were looking him cold and embarrassed. After they left Galied thanked Frederick he started to cry a little.

The others were also thankful to Frederick but they didn't say anything then '' Thank so much'' with a smile on them''

Galied told everyone that there would be a village dinner tonight. To thank Frederick for helping them or saving them as Galied said.
