Well, Bumi it didn't go as planned.
I decided to add colours for the sketch to see if I can capture the emotion better later on.

Ooooh, I LOVE the colors here, it really brings the setting to life with the trees and Republic city in the distance. Also so great to get to see this side of Bumi, more serious and determined to unlock airbending but not having any luck. (Also have to say the airbender practice boards are so well rendered, I love those, it's so fun to see Bumi in a place we recognize so well.)
