Bakugou walked into the kitchen to see a complete and utter mess. Rice and breadcrumbs everywhere, oil splashed all over the stove, and what looked like some sort of meat burnt to a crisp. And there, standing in the center of it all was Midoriya Izuku, or as Bakugou would say that damn Deku.
“What the hell!” he shouted, causing Midoriya to jump. “What did you do to my kitchen! I thought I told you to stay out of here Deku!”
Midoriya turned to look at the blonde boy with wide eyes, “I know, but I was hungry, and there were no snacks, and I didn’t want to ask someone to make me something, so I just thought I would make myself some katsudon, because it couldn't be that hard and-”
“And you thought That was a good idea!” Katsuki growled, his hands sparking slightly. “How is it humanly possible to get rice this far away from the rice cooker! Is that pork over there in the fryer!? What did you do to it! Get outta my sight Damn Deku!” he set off a small explosion as a warning.
He had expected Midoriya to back away which is why he was so surprised when he moved in closer. One of Midoriya’s fists grasped Katsuki’s tee shirt and pulled his face down to press their lips together in one heated kiss.
Katsuki froze. He had been waiting for this moment for so long and now that it has come, he was too surprised to react. Izuku was about to pull away when Katsuki wrapped his arms around his waist and pulled him in to deepen the kiss.
They kissed for what felt like hours before they pulled apart.
Izuku just looked into Katsuki’s unique red eyes. They stayed like this for a while, just processing what just happened before Katsuki spoke. “Whatever possessed you to do that, should possess you more often.”
“Kacchan I-” Izuku began, still surprised Kacchan’s reaction wasn’t more violent, before Katsuki pressed another soft kiss to his lips.
“Shut up, just let me say this. Cause if you don’t let me now, I never will.” Katsuki said still holding the smaller boy close. “I have been wanting to do this for so long. Since we were kids. That first identity crisis, when we all thought, ‘oh, shit, I like guys,’ I just, never wanted to look weak. I never wanted you to see me let my pride fall, because I had to do that to let you in. I have loved you since I first knew what love was, Deku. And if you don’t love me back I don’t know what I would do with myself.”
Izuki just stood there looking at Katsuki. Was he dreaming? He has always loved Kacchan, and he never exactly hid it. He stuck around for a reason. He knew Kacchan wasn’t as bad as he pretended to be. He knew that he was a good person underneath it all. And now Kacchan admits that he has loved him his whole life? It couldn’t be real.
“I love you too, Kacchan. I always have. I guess that’s why I always stuck around…” Whether it was real or not, Izuku was going to take advantage of this chance. “At first I just thought it was because I found your quirk interesting, but then I noticed other things. Your complete and utter determination to be number one at everything. The way you are so strong, and you are so smart and think so quickly, I feel bad for any villain that goes up against you. You can be intense, but its only because you work so hard. Then I started noticing your skin, how it glows so bright and I want to mark it even though I know it’s because of the nitroglycerine you sweat. I look at you and all I want to do is hold you and for you to be mine.”
“I’m not even going to think about the skin thing yet. You really feel that way?” Bakugou spoke, an expression on his face that Izuku had never seen before. He was vulnerable. And that was okay.
“I do, Kacchan.” He reached up to place a hand on the taller boy’s cheek. “That is something you can always count on.”
Katsuki leaned into Izuku’s touch, something he doesn’t get very often, and pulled him into a hug, “I love you so much,” he said into Izuku’s hair. “Now go sit down and let me make you some Katsudon and clean up this mess, dumbass.”
