Do you hear that? That slow creaking? The dolls must be moving about upstairs again. If they know that you can hear them, they’ll come for you while you’re sleeping. This is a tale told about a house on the edge of town. Not one person that’s gone in has ever come out, neither alive nor dead. There are never any bodies to be found. But on every Halloween night, all you hear is the screams and crying of everyone that’s gone missing over the years. All that’s ever been seen are the dolls that look like the missing people. The only thing that changes is the fact that for every missing person, there is a new doll added. So if you don’t want to be next, then you’d better stay in bed and cover your eyes, your ears, and pray you don’t hear the dolls. For if you do, they will trick you and then if that doesn’t work, they’ll make you hear things that aren’t there. All while you slowly go crazy and walk yourself into the house. So good luck, stay safe and don’t let the dolls know you hear them.

This was the last letter found that had been written by the owner of the house. All that was ever found was a single doll that looked just like the owner. As I’m writing this I can hear the dolls coming for me. I can hear the slow creaking of the dolls joints. I’m sitting in the abandoned house, I’d come in here on a dare on Halloween no less, I now regret my choice of action. I can feel my skin starting to stiffen, my joints feel like wood. I hope my family doesn't miss me too much. Before I fully become a doll, I’m going to try and burn this cursed house to the ground. If it does not work, I pray that no one will be stupid enough to ever come here again.
