I try to look at every building I can in NYC because it's all so beautiful
and I have an irrational fear of things disappearing if no one looks at them

I understand that fear! I have a similar feeling. I try and look at things especially like the sky and how the sunlight filters through the trees on certain days. (I live in a more country area) because I know that no other time with it look exactly the same and that it is a view I can't waste
