High Nose

My nose has always been an insecurity for me, especially with western beauty standard of slim cute little button noses. Eventually I embraced my nose, it fits my face. However living in Asia I heard many strangers comment on the height of my nose in awe. First time it was honestly a shock. I thought it was quite rude and made me feel self conscious, but later I realized it was meant as a compliment, as in Asia high nose is somewhat a desired beauty standard . I can laugh about it now as one of the funny anecdotes of living abroad.
