They both continued their way, returning as quickly as possible to town. Concern for the worse cross through his mind. Alistor and Tannen made their way back after an amount of time.

"The damage has already escalated," Tannen noted.

     They spot Sairori and Katty struggling, outnumbered, barely fending off the pawns and the King's new monster. Sairori begins to fall back as Katty tries to take them all on.

“Hold on! We’re coming.” Alistor hollered.

     Alistor and Tannen tried reaching them, but they were halted by swarms of pawns and the new spider walkers blocking their way. Baronia fighter ships continue assaulting the ground from the skies.  

“There’s a lot of them.”

The pawns slowly fell back as they were cleared out of the way. Katty got aggressive enough to take a spider walker down to the ground. Slicing through one of the walker's legs, it tumbled to the ground and exploded.  

"I'll take you all on." He shouted to the fleet.

     Gear ships fired at Katty from above, damaging him. He is seen sent flying to the other side. Crashing through a wooden wall.

"Fall back, Katty!" Sairori shouted.

      Katty refused as he got back up, slicing through the line of pawns. He takes damage from the same ships firing above.

Alistor and Tannen had their hands full with another wave of grunts. Katty was now in the middle, surrounded by enemies from all sides.

“I’m not afraid. Your numbers don’t mean anything.” Katty went on.

     The village of Emerald was now in ruins as the Baronia King arrived at the scene.

“I’m coming!”

     Sairori breaks through the line of grunts by cutting through them with a stream of lightning. The Gear ships continued to assault Katty as Sairori went to cover him.

“We need to do something about those ships.”

      Sairori finally had enough of those ships and took both out by summoning a lightning rod. It stretched out very high, destroying both ships. With his masterful control, he forces both ships to crash into the set of spider walkers blocking Alistor and Tannen.

“That will do.” Katty patted.

     With the open path, the others wasted no time hurrying to their side. The Baronia King was still calm as he moved in to greet them again.

     "So most of your team is here, I see. This will finish you for good."

      The King calls out his new monster to join the battle. “

“Do my bidding. I summon you, my armored warrior, Mecha Tiger!”

     The winds suddenly change as a new monster is deployed down from a gear ship. Mecha Tiger came down hanging from a set of strings attached to its shoulders.  

“Now go and destroy them.” Ordered the King.  

“We’ll handle things from here.” Alistor insisted. “You guys take it easy.”

     Alistor orders Katty and Sairori to fall back as the monster scorches the battlefield with its fire breath. Unfortunately, Katty was too ignorant to listen, so he confronted it alone.

“Think I’ll let you guys have all the glory? Just sit back. This one’s mine!”

     Feeling cocky, Katty rushes at the monster. Mecha Tiger begins charging forth as he draws his katana.

"My Flashfire technique should be enough."

     Mecha Tiger readied its claws as they both clashed in one swift swipe. A blinding flash of light sparked as they came in contact. A piercing sound was heard.

“Did he get him?” Alistor wondered.

      Tannen focused on the scene as both warriors stood silently still. A cracking sound was heard from Mecha Tiger's armor. A few pieces of scrap metal came falling off as the monster looked back. Katty rolled his eyes over, feeling victory was at hand, but blood quickly came pouring from his side.

"What, but how?"

     He was severely pierced, unable to fight on his strike was not powerful enough to penetrate the Tiger's armor.

"A foolish move, boy." The King comments.

      The monster laughs as Alistor gets enraged. Sairori moves Katty's body away for recovery.

“You’ll pay for this!”

     The monster makes the first move as it charges in with one claw, ready to strike from a distance. Tannen quickly swept him away before the beast even had a chance to land a first blow. The ground shatters from the result of the impact.

"We need to find a way around this," Tannen said.

      The King continues to watch from a distance, overjoyed at the sight of the battle.

"I won't let you down! Hold on, Katty!"

     Alistor tried to land some quick strikes at the monster before it had a chance to get up. Tannen tosses a few hand axes as projectiles, but it proves ineffective against the beast as it bounces off. It quickly rose and roared, causing Alistor to stumble back since he was close.

"His armor is tough," Sairori noted.

    Their attacks continue to bounce off the beast. Mecha Tiger then tries again to strike at the defenseless Alistor.

“Got to think of something fast.”

He uses his sword to block the Tiger's attack as its claw pounces on his blade. The weight was heavy to bear as Alistor was put in a tense struggle.

“So heavy…..”

     Alistor was on the verge of losing his grip on his sword as the monster continued to press down on him.

“Here goes!” Muttered Tannen.

     Rose fighter quickly gets summoned as it dashes through the field like an ice skater. A heavy punch rammed into the monster's face as it flew a few yards back.

“Sigh….thanks.”

     He was free from the monster's grip as Rose Warrior came to his side. The Tigers metal face was all cracked up as it pushed itself to open its mouth. Parts fell off of the monster's face.

“Ok, what will we do next?” Alistor asked.

     Tannen began whispering in the ears of the others to plan out how they were going to take that thing out. Mecha Tiger reacted as it released a massive breath of flame from its mouth.

“Spread out!” Tannen ordered.

   The fire was beginning to spread on the ground. Alistor and his team dodged out of the flame's range. The monster fires out more flames as they disbursed around the beast.

“Let’s try this out.”

     Tannen quickly summons some binding earth with his magnifying glass to restrain the beast's four limbs.
