Being the top student at Windford wasn't always easy. Everybody judging you...every step you make...of course, I’ve EARNED my place, to be the top student. But I wasn’t always the top student. This story reveals all my steps through arriving at the top
Kihrq vs. Christina Dore (Part 1)
You see, before I even got to Windford academy, this girl called, Christina Dore, was in charge. She was caring, patient, always helping others, and that’s what made me sick. She was your typical “perfect-friendly” girl you'd meet. Compare her to a Barbie doll. So, I swore on my life to exceed her one day and become the top to bring back the expectation vs. reality she chose to ignore.
When I transfered to this school, I got into a fight at the cafeteria. Everyone was watching, but I won. Using all my powers, it was like I revealed my identity to the world. Everyone was impressed, including HER. Christina. She was there. She was so amazed by my talent, that she invited me to come over to a local cafe shop that weekend.
[...] The local cafe, The Week-end
- So? Where’d you come from?
-...
- I don’t why but I have this feeling that you have been through a lot of things in your life.
- …
- So? How’s your mom?
- WHAT THE- ?! HOW’D YOU KNOW? I yelled.
- I can read through people’s minds.
- Well don’t do that here! Especially to me! You want to have my trust, right? Then EARN it!
- Right. Sorry, I haven't asked.
- It’s fine. Anyways, why did you invite me to this cafe? Is it just to know all about my life and junk?
- No. Not your life...but you.
- Ha. Ha. You’re kidding, right? With all my respect, Do you REALLY expect me to tell you EVERYTHING you want to know about “me” because you’ve invited me to this odd stupid cafe and- …
- I know you’re upset, but let me get things straight. As all of you know, I'm DESTINED to become the Empress. I’m not supposed to tell you this but we’re also looking forward to an alliance with The Falcon Elites, which as you know, is the inter-national army for our kingdoms but originated from the Water and Lightning Kingdoms. Its whole army is led by one chief: Okawa Michio (Man with the strength of three thousand). He’s...pretty rough and-- …
- Can we get to the point?
- Right. I’m getting there. The thing is...I don't want to be Empress.
- What?! But that’s like...the ULTIMATE job you could ever get?! Why wouldn’t you want it?!
- Trust me. Being Empress is not easy. I did a trial and I hated it. The fact that you get to decide and know what’s best for everyone else...and all the pressure put in. I don’t … I don't want a job like this. I don’t feel like I have enough experience. And If I continue in that route, they’ll work me to death. And I don't want that. I want to have a peaceful life. Die victoriously.
- So...what does that have to do with me?
- Well...I want YOU to become the next Empress.
- Wait. But why?
- BECAUSE! you’re so talented and you have something that others don't: determination. As I said, I KNOW what you’ve been through. Your mother being a slave and having been poisoned. Your dad, who was a guard at the Kinshi Fortress, died on battlefield. You’re not like the others. Sure, you can be impolite and short-tempered, but with a little bit of training, we can fix all that. And I want you to know that I was born with a deceased mother. She didn't make it. While on the other side, my father… he left when I was a toddler. He thought that a life without my mother would be impossible so...when I was 6, he-- .... he committed---
- …
- Yes. We’ve both been through lots of stuff but we can choose to ignore them and leave them behind. Never forget that. Live. Experience. Forgive. And let go.
What she said was right: Live. Experience. Forgive. And let go. Ever since that day, her, giving me the option of becoming the next Empress, I took my game WAY seriously. I’ve wanted to change and protect my people.
