“Oh, thank god we made it here so fast. These are the transfers! Shinsou, Kendo, and Shiozaki!” Uraraka smiled and put her arm around Bakugo.

“Sorry we’re late, babe.” She whispered into his ear.

“Ugh, if you extras are too annoying I’ll kill you. Now shoo!” He yells and everyone scurries off, Shiozaki glancing at Uraraka.

“I’ll be up in a bit, the door’s unlocked.” She smiles and runs off.

“Hey boys, isn’t this exciting? We’re all gonna be great heroes!” Shiozaki smiles at them in the elevator.

“Yeah, it’s great to have new friends!” Kaminari smiles and pumps his fist in the air.

“Sure, or whatever…” Shinsou grumbles and the elevator dings, letting the boys out. They walk out, Kaminari waving to Shiozaki.

“See you later!” She waves back as they walk away and into Kaminari’s room.

“Shinsou. Why’d you help me?” Kaminari asks as he locks the door and walks to his bed. Shinsou looks at him and looks down.

“I don’t know. You reminded me of myself, I guess.” He shrugs and lays down on the makeshift bed.

“What does that mean?” Kaminari furrows his eyebrows at the other.

“What's with Bakugo? I know he refused to take the award at the sports festival last year, but why’s he so mean?” Shinsou asks, ignoring Kaminari’s question.

“He ignored me...I’ve definitely hit a nerve. I’ve got to tell T.’ Kaminari thinks and takes his phone to text her.

“Anger issues, plus he hates Midoriya with burning passion and now they see each other all the time.” Kaminari offers,texting Toga and telling her to look into Shinsous past. Shinsou nods and takes out his prep-work. They sat in silence for a while.

“We should be friends, we don’t know how long until your dorm is ready.” Kaminari smiles and gets up, sitting on the floor near Shinsou.

“I’m not here to make friends, but we could watch a movie or something? It’s only like, seven.” Kaminari nods and opens Netflax.

“What do you wanna watch? I don’t really care.” Shinsou thinks for a second before answering.

“How about horror?” Shinsou gets up and sits next to Kaminari, on the floor.

“Okay.” Kaminari starts the movie. It was a random horror movie with a tiny piece of romance.

About halfway though the movie Kaminari turns to Shinsou.

“Why don't you like 'Shin' as a nickname?" Kaminari questions, his voice careful.

"Bad memories. I'd prefer not to elaborate." Shinsou looks away, turning his head from Kaminari. It was a terrible memory, one he hadn't told anyone.

"Okay then. This movie is good, right?" Kaminari smiles cheerfully and continues watching the bloody, gore filled film.

'The fuck? Even I cringe during these moments and he just smiles?' Shinsou studies the happy face of Kaminari and wonders. Kaminari can feel Shinsou staring at him.

“You okay?” Kaminari lifted an eyebrow and looked over at him.

“It’s nothing. The movie is good, really gory though.” Shinsou turns back to the screen

“Yeah…” He nods and turns back to the movie.
