To be fair, this kind of situation isn't too uncommon today and was the norm in the past. It's only been a relatively recent and slowly ending trend that anybody exactly 18 should have their own place (I mean and especially as they're 15 here). :( It's a shame they feel so bad or ashamed about this kind of thing.
