Get off our territory and find a new one. This is OUR land now! The leader of these pesky skunks announced.
Nobody moved.
Come on. Get off...unless you want little soft families to get crushed over by my fellow companions. And I'm SURE you don’t want that.
Feeling this as a serious threat, some of the people of the tribe started moving.
Hurry up packing your stuff, you useless fools! And burn all of your houses after while you’re at it! And I better not have any germs in my future room!
This… is not...your land. Presila mumbled, loudly enough for all of us to hear. Including their idiot of a chief.
What did you say to me?
THIS...IS NOT… YOUR LAND! She shouted, as she threw, in one single shot, a barrier formed in a semi-circle, where all the people were located.
Let us go! Screamed one of the villagers.
We don’t wanna rot here! Just apologize to them and give them our land.
N-never… as Presila said, struggling to keep that barrier for long.
Hurry! Let’s get the villagers on higher grounds in order to keep them safe and OUT, of the brings of this incident! Naomi ordered.
When every villager got evacuated, Presila stopped producing her barrier and we both started fighting, hand-to-hand combat, with our enemies. It was just me and her. There were some times where we’d use our elemental powers in rare moments. But when we’d use them, it was for the sake of our defense. The combat was long and breath shortening. Some legends say that it took years, but in reality, it only took 2 straight weeks to get rid of those pesky skunks.
Nearly two weeks after the invasion, we have been nearly fighting for our lives but we were nearly dying. Both Presila and I were covered in blood and random scars, everywhere. Of course, thank God but a miracle happened: Naomi and Mar’i came back and helped us defeat them. It was a hard and equal battle. But I realized that something was wrong...both of our clans used the same tricks over and over again. That’s why it felt like they were practically the same fighting moves, styles, techniques. But when all hope thought to be lost, Fierin remembered:
- The scroll!
- What scroll? Presila asked.
When hope is thought to be lost
It is then, and ONLY then, that we’ll see the light at the end of the tunnel
We’ll gather up as a circle, to symbolize, unity and peace
We’ll set an example and dedicate our lives to those who matter the most
Now’s the time that we’d make things right...
- Quick! Gather up in a circle! I exclaimed.
They all did what I asked with no questions. They trusted me, but the only one who was getting suspicions was Presila:
- I sure hope you know what you’re doing.
- Trust me, it’ll work.
I then shouted:
La lyset være, og en ny æra begynner!
There was a big «boom!»! It felt like the big bang type of boom. We all got knocked out on the ground. After that, it looked like everything restarted. I stood up, and observed major changes. The destructions that were led by this war weren’t there anymore, My wounds re-generated very quickly and efficiently and my clothes weren’t ripped, or neither, covered with blood. We all looked younger and… WE HAD THE ORIGINAL WEAPONS, FIRST HELD, BY THE ORIGINAL, LEGENDARY 4’S, IN OUR HANDS!
It was over. We won.
