When we pulled up to Miles’ house I was a little nervous I wasn’t entirely sure what was going to happen here and what Miles was going to say to me or even to Elliot.
From my understanding since this was at his house this wasn’t going to be a super crazy party.
Just something for him and his friends to do.
Like seriously though I feel that I may just be a little too young to be at something like this, I mean if you look at it I am only fourteen which is like a big difference from a lot of the other people that are going to be here.
I don’t know why I am being so self conscious right now about this but here I am, worrying about the tiniest of things.
Besides Cassius, Elliot is really my only sense of comfort while being here. I know that he probably knows a lot of the people that are going to be here and that he won’t leave me alone.
For all I know this could be some sort of prank to get at me and I am really not ready for something like that.
As we all started to walk up the stairs to the front door Elliot put his hand on my lower back and kept it there until we reached the door. I love little things like that, just something to make me feel more appreciated is all.
I looked up at the blonde and he looked down at me. Just by taking this moment and really looking at him I couldn’t believe that I was actually here with him.
I mean this is something that I only thought about because I just knew that him and I would probably never meet.
“What’s up guys? Jaxon you came.” Miles started to greet everyone but once he seen me he straight up ignored all of them to get to me. It kind of made me a little uncomfortable because Elliot looked like he wanted to kill Miles just now.
“Yeah I’m here. I hope it’s okay, I brought my friend with me. This is Cassius.” He looked over at him and gave him a smile. He held out his hand do that Cass could shake it.
“It’s a pleasure Cassius. I’m Miles.” If I wasn’t mistaken I could totally swear that Cass thought Miles was the hottest thing on earth. The way he was looking at him was a little funny.
“Nice to meet you as well.” Cass spoke softly to him, I could hear how nervous he was, it was adorable to say the least.
“Glad to see you guys here, Elliot and Shepley. Didn’t think you two would have showed up.” Elliot went to open his mouth but was quickly interrupted by Shepley who knew that it would be best if Elliot just didn’t speak right now.
“Yeah well you know. We are always down for a great party.” I could hear the sarcasm in his voice which made me chuckle to myself.
Miles rolled his eyes and then moved out of the way so that we could all walk inside of house. He had a pretty decent house, it had color to it unlike mine that was all white walls like a damn hospital.
His living room was the first room that we walked into and that is where I am guessing most of the people were hanging out.
To the right of the living room was the kitchen and that is where I could hear a group of guys either talking loud or yelling at each other I really couldn’t tell the difference a bit.
That was where we were all headed though was to the kitchen. Elliot and Shepley walked in front of Cass and I and they were instantly greeted by just about everyone in there.
Cass and I are definitely out of place here.
“Didn’t think you would be here Elliot, thought you were too cool for stuff like this.” Elliot smirked at them and then leaned against one of the walls and shrugged.
“Hey those are your words man, not mine.”
“Well I mean you were apparently too cool to join the football team with us. Both of you.” Okay so these guys are football players and they wanted Shep and Elliot to join them?
Elliot plays sports? I don’t know why I am acting so surprised about this just look at him, he was perfectly built for it.
“I want to play for a winning team.” Shepley said as he grabbed a cup and made himself a drink. The other guys were laughing and booing his words all at once.
I looked at Cassius and I could see that he was just as lost as I was. We were for sure the youngest ones here and everyone could clearly see that we didn’t fit in, being here seriously made me feel like a child.
That was until I looked outside and seen that there were a few freshman girls out there, alright so this isn’t so bad age wise. It still feels so weird.
“You alright?” Elliot was so close to me, he whispered in my ear which made his deep voice sound amazing. I looked at him to see that he was staring right at me.
I had to take a quick glance around because I just knew that if someone saw him this close they would wonder about this.
“Uh Elliot? Should we be this close?” I was a little nervous, I can’t even lie about that. He smirked at me and got close to my ear again.
“I’m just talking to you, what’s so wrong with that?” Ugh everything was wrong with it because I liked it so much.
My young teenage hormones could not handle this right now, this is how I got in trouble before and I am trying to not do that again.
“Hey man, code pink.” Shepley said to Elliot before walking away and talking to someone else. I heard Elliot groan before standing up straight and looking around.
This just made me so curious as to what ‘code pink’ meant. It wasn’t until I caught a glimpse of the person that I knew exactly what that meant. It was that female from the bathroom and the beach and she was coming straight for Elliot.
Well this is just great.
She walked right up to him with a smile and tried to grab a hold of his shirt but he grabbed her hand and made her stop before she got ahead of herself.
“I was hoping you and I could go somewhere and talk.” She tried being sexy but it wasn’t working. At least I didn’t think it was at all.
“No can do Seanna.” I hate her name too, just like her. Okay maybe I am being a bit mean towards this girl. But I don’t like the way she is talking to my guy.
“Well why not? I thought we were—“
“No. I am seeing someone from another school. I can’t play this game with you anymore, I’m sorry.” I was so relieved that he rejected her, it literally made my entire night.
Cassius tapped me so I looked over at him which meant that I could no longer listen to their conversation.
“Why didn’t you tell me Miles was super attractive.” Oh Jesus is he for real?
“What? Are you kidding me?”
“Uh yeah I am Jaxon. Don’t act like you don’t think he is cute because you are the one that was talking to him first.” Yeah, to get a reaction out of Elliot. Not to help my friend get a date.
“So what, you want to talk to him or something?” I mean I wasn’t sure where he was getting with this at all.
“I don’t know yet, I want to see how this plays out you know?” No I don’t know, but alright.
What I do know is that I need to find a restroom and I couldn’t find Miles anywhere. I turned back toward Elliot and seen that he was no longer talking to that girl.
I tugged on his shirt which made him turn around to look at me.
“Jaxon?”
“Do you know where the bathroom is?” He looked up and thought for a second before looking at all the guys in the room. “Yo where is the bathroom at?” It seemed like everyone all at once was yelling and I had no idea what they were saying.
“Uh what?” I said out loud.
“Upstairs to the left.” So I know where it is at but I have no idea where the steps are. So I was honestly just going to wing it and hope for the best.
“Want me to go with you?” Elliot was once again close to my face only this time I could feel my face getting extremely hot.
“Please?” He nodded before saying something Shepley. “Hey Cass, I am going to the restroom, Shep is going to stay down here okay?” He nodded and then got closer to Shepley. I am assuming so that he could feel safe.
Elliot and I started on our mission to the restroom and the entire time he kept his hand on my back to guide me. My heart was beating fast the entire time but I wasn’t going to show any type of emotion.
We finally found the bathroom so I went inside while he waited for me on the other side of the door. Once I flushed it and washed my hands the door opened and in came Elliot.
He shut the door behind him all while putting one hand on my cheek, cupping it and then connecting his lips to him. It was so sudden and it felt so good.
Elliot pushed himself more into me making the kiss become more intense. He had licked my bottom lip asking for an entrance and I quickly obliged I was not going to pass this up one bit.
I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and pulled him closer to me, I didn’t ever want this moment to end. He put his hands on my waist with a strong grip and pulled me as close to him as possible.
Things were about to get a little too far and I knew that if I didn’t stop it now that there wouldn’t be any stopping.
So I pulled away and instantly Elliot groaned because I think he knew that it was time for us to stop.
“I have been wanting to do that all night Jaxon.” His words made me shiver all over, I wanted more and I think he can see that.
As much as I didn’t want to I knew that we had to go back to our friends. Who would have thought a bathroom would have been the best spot for a party.
