That is unfortunate, that the only way that he can feel at peace if he isn't alone. But I feel as though it's a warning bell in its own, that even his mind and heart are telling him that he can't go on.
Although I like how he's doing something that may be helping and might get him to realize that truth. I guess this is him dealing with the problems in his career and at the same time, the problems that come up after settling on his path in life.
