Taiga flagged him down. Kuro walked over to the table, where she sat. "So, uh, Taiga... Thanks for standing up for me and trying to mitigate the debacle betwixt me and Tsukasa." 

Taiga replied, "Thanks for taking up for me, too. He coulda killed me!" 

Kuro bit his boerwors. "Welp. He won't be hitting people in Mr. K's anytime soon. I couldn't let him do you like that, to be honest. I already hated the fact that he was a bully, plus, you're too nice to be handled like that." 

She blushed a bit. She looked down a bit as well. She thought to herself, 'I'm having feelings for Kuro. But...I don't know what to say to him...or how to exectue it...' 

Kuro asked, "You said something?"

She came to and replied, "No, no, no. I was just...uhhh..." 

An awkward silence was betwixt the two. Then, he broke said silence. "So. Tell me about yourself..." 

"Well, I like anime, music, and movies. I also like cooking!"

"Ah, we have stuff in common! What music do you fancy?"

"Various genres: rock, edm, world music..." 

"I listen to EDM. You know, KSUKE, GRAVEDGR, Eptic, Skrillex, deadmau5, Adam K & Soha, many others! Oh, and nice Illenium shirt. You go to festivals here?"

"Not really. I saved a bit of money to buy it on Amazon." 

"Same. I don't do festivals too often. They're too expensive, and the last time I went, some frat knocked my snowcone down when I wasn't in the mosh pit. I popped him the jaw after he laughed about it. I'd rather just watch the sets on YouTube, or I'd listen to them on Soundcloud. Oh, and you like to cook, too?" 

"I do. My mom taught me how to cook various things. I should cook for you sometime!" 

"I'd be happy to see what you're shaking, you know. I cook sometimes, too. My butler, who's more than a butler, taught me. My favourite is broccoli and gravy. I add meat or seafood to it. My butler does most of the cooking, but he taught me, given that he'll leave for a day or two sometimes. He's part of the Butler's Circle, where they do activities." 

"Neato!" 

"Now let's talk anime. Favourite anime?" 

"Various, mainly Naruto. I enjoy Itachi; he's one of my favourites!" 

"Ah, Itachi. I do Sasuke, to be frank. Opposites attract, heheh. I like Pokémon; my favourite is Mega Charizard X." He paused and ate the rest of his sausage. "We should exchange phone numbers, if you like."

Taiga wrote her number down on a piece of paper, almost as fast as a bullet train. She handed him the white slip. "Here you go." 

Kuro followed suit, giving her his. "Side note: I go to MMA practice from Monday-Thursday from 5-7. So does my friend Kamarudeen. We're part of the North Tokyo Dragons! We're both flyweights." 

Taiga snickered, then she asked, "What's MMA?" 

"Mixed Martial Arts. It's a combo of kickboxing, Brazilian jiu-jistu, wrestiling, and Muay Thai. My favourites are Khabib Nurmagomedov, Derrick Lewis, Henry Cejudo, Nate Diaz, Nick Diaz, Daniel Cormier, Uriah Hall, Demetrious Johnson..."

"My dad likes MMA, too. He also used to be a boxer!"

Kuro showed her a MMA book. "Here are some moves you can learn when getting into a fight. you know, if need be." 

Taiga read the book. She saw an illustration of the D'arce lock. She tried doing the lock on Kuro, but he broke free, laughing. She started laughing herself. Kuro looked at his watch. "I gotta go! Class is starting in 7 minutes. Come by the place sometime -- the address is right behind the paper." 

When Kuro left, jogging, she said to herself, "I have feelings for him..."
