Asking for money for something your parent doesn't understand must be so hard. It's interesting to see the difference between the two generations understanding of a dollar value (e.g. what it takes to buy a house nowadays). They both have valid points about career pursuits, it's important to try for your passions and explore options even if it doesn't seem financially smart. That being said, we all live in the real world where money matters, and sadly does need to be considered. Such a good episode!
