PErcival is with his grandfather, who was serving the royal family and their family were serving the royals for many generations. Percival lost his parents in a smaller war and the grandfather took the child in.

Freyja is an Orphan child, adopted by a lord from Valm who had no children. She have an adoptive (also an orphan) sister, called Korina.
