"He's the same one?" Asked Emily as she stood over Remy sleeping on the sofa the next morning.

Jackson nodded his head from where he was sitting on the floor in front of the sofa. He had a sketch pad in his lap for the past hour or so. He had been sketching Remy as he slept.

"The new muse!" She winked, "Cute too."

"He is." Smirked Jackson.

"Still. You?" Emily glanced between the two of them. "Relationships really aren't your thing."  

Jackson huffed to himself, Emily not commenting on the fact that Remy was a guy at all but the fact that relationships weren't his thing.

"Well, I'm in luck for now because he's still in love with his ex. So no rush."

"The guy from the photo?" She whispered. "The dead one?"

Jackson nodded his head again. The poor boy was still in love with a man that, from what he gathered, never truly loved him back or at least claimed he did but didn't know how to show it.

"Well!" Emily was not sure what to think of all of it. "I have my own drama to deal with. The other half was not so happy with me staying here last night. Me telling her to suck it didn't help either."

Emily and Jackson always had someone thinking things were more than what they were between the two of them. When in reality, they haven't done anything, ever. It was strictly platonic between them.

Remy woke up at the sound of the front door shutting. Jerking up in a panic. "I'm late."

He didn't know what time it was, but he knew he was late for work. He still had to go home and get changed. Oh, the stress of it all was too much for him.  

"And not late. We called out this morning. Well, I tried to call no answer, so I texted. Actually, I texted Boss Lady and The Boss Man, so maybe we didn't call out. . . ?"

"What?" Remy looked at his phone and the texts Jackson sent on his behalf, the both of them responded.

The Boss Man was his actual boss, so he texted the right person, reading the reply Matthew sent, then the reply from Silver which got a laugh out of him.

"Would be easier if you used names." He knew that Remy's boss was Matthew, but everyone on his phone had some kind of code name.

"Code names are better." Commented Remy, tossing his phone back on the floor as he laid down again, rubbing his temples.

"Then why don't I have one?"

"Haven't thought of a good one for you yet." He had thought about going with Stalker then Asshole with a Camera, but they didn't seem suiting enough. Neither did New Age, so it's Jacks for now.

Remy glanced over at Jackson on the floor, "Were you drawing me?"

Another nod, then he turned his pad around, showing Remy what he had thus far. Multiple little sketches of him, none of which were complete.

"You know I said that would be a minimum of two hundred."

"I know. You can add it to my tab or call us even." He mocked, recalling the conversation they had before.

"So why did we call out today?" Asked Remy rubbing his temples.

He had a massive headache and his neck hurt from how he fell asleep, sitting up as Jackson brought him a cup of coffee.

"A self-care day."

"Yeah. Self-care to me is getting that extra slice of pizza. " Pretty sure their views of self-care were very different.

"Okay, what do you do for fun then?"

Remy huffed, fun, he was a twenty-six-year-old struggling to live on his own, so fun wasn't something he had much of anymore.

"I went drinking last weekend."

"Dancing?" Asked Jackson with a smirk.

"Just because I'm gay, don't make assumptions that everything I do is stereotypical. But yes."

"I'm not." Jackson put his hand up as if he was offended by the notion, "But I need to know was it like dancing or dancing dancing?"

"The clothes stayed on if that's what you mean." Remy was not sure what he was getting at.  

"OH! I know what we're doing tonight?" Jackson nodded his head as if it was a sure thing. "But need something to fill the day in."

He said this more to himself than to Remy, getting up from the sofa then started to rumble through some of the things he had on his desk. Not finding what he was looking for so he moved to the next pile of things.

"You think we wear the same size pants?" He asked, looking over his shoulder at Remy.
