Back in February 2020, I had dyed my hair green. Over the summer it had faded until it was more blonde than green. My mother made the comment that my hair used to be that color, meaning the blonde, when I was little. The first thing I say without missing a beat is “What, the green”. After saying that, my husband and mother both gave me this really strange look and I busted out laughing.
