AGENT ZERO:
SUB ZERO
1
EXT. ARCTIC - “Art of Dying”
A large icebreaker ship crushes through the icy sea of the north. The only marking visible is a red maple leaf. On the deck, ZERO looks out over the glossy horizon through a spy camera. The SEA CAPTAIN approaches him.
SEA CAPTAIN
The ice is getting too thick. We cannot go much further.
ZERO
Understood. Here is what I owe you. It is all I have left.
ZERO hands a few silver coins to the SEA CAPTAIN.
SEA CAPTAIN
I’m sorry we couldn’t take you all the way, but we should get back to our route.
ZERO
Drop me here.
The ship lowers a lifeboat onto the ice full of equipment. ZERO jumps out of it as the ground below cracks and shears. ZERO begins the long walk across an empty, frozen sea. The cracks spider out in all directions and fractal into mesmerizing shapes. The title sequence mirrors submarines and missiles like a kaleidoscope.
