Rose knows the legend by heart. She had memorized all the writings that Bilmont had. She was sure that he knew that she did, so why did he give her this assignment? Why have her read about something that she knows so much about?

Aki and Ati, both are the reason why Rose was living with Bilmont in the mountains. He would not be up here doing research and helping people and dragons from afar. They are the reason why the City of Aki is still standing today. 

Rose leaned back in her chair deep in thought. If she were to find something that she does not know about the legend, she would have to go somewhere else to get some information. The city was the first place on her mind, but she has never been. Bilmont says that she would go when the time is right, but is now the right time? It did not feel like that was the answer to her, at least not right now. 

She continued thinking into the night and eventually fell asleep sitting at her desk.

At sunrise, Rose was awoken by the sound of wings and a shadow coming over her window. After rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, she looked out the window to see a dragon sitting next to the cliff. 

It was the current leader of the dragons, Ift. She was known to be a very commanding leader and would usually try to solve any issue herself before asking for help. Her magic was very powerful compared to other dragons. She was also never very dramatic when it comes to a lost claw or scale, meaning that there was something wrong. 

Rose rushed down the stairs to see why Ift was here. 

“Ah, little human of flowers, how have you grown since I last saw you.”
