While running, I turned my head to back for a moment to see what Draugrs are doing.

I have bad and good news. The good is I am faster than Draugrs. The bad thing is their number increased.

I won't even say anything because I asked for the trouble this time, but I want to point out one thing.

"If I knew my wish was going to happen, I will wish for another thing."

I looked up at the sky for a moment while still running away from Draugrs.

"I know you can hear me! Oh, shit a stone, fuck." I almost stumble and fall.

I am not sure, but I heard a giggle from Draugrs. Now walking corpses are making fun of me.

"Voice, do you know an escape route or something, because a piece of advice will be priceless right now.

"Calculating possible escape routes." I know I can count on it.

"Good job, I know I can count on you!" Now I need to wait for the Voice's answer, and I will be safe.

Draugrs doesn't seem to be getting tired from their run too, should I stop and try to fight against them.

I checked my quiver, only four arrows left, but five Draugrs are chasing me.

Damaging their brains seems to be the best option for killing them. Should I try my chance? They'll catch me eventually.

I fucking group of wolves, I am not surprised they usually hang around these parts of the forest, but this is the worst time to encounter them.

Now both Draugrs and wolves are circling me.

I am dead meat right now. There is no way I will survive this encounter.

"Voice, do you have any ideas?" I hope it has one.

"Two different factions will fight over a territory from time to time."

"Thank you." Not bad advice, but how I sure can I be about wolves and Draugrs hate each other?

Both sides are keeping their distance from each other. Should I just run away?

No, it could trigger their fight.

I am out of ideas right now, and their numbers are increasing.

A giant wolf showed up from the woods.

"Boss monster alert. One's current power is not enough to survive this encounter escaping from it advised."

A wolf six times bigger than the deer I killed, I don't even know what the fuck is happening here.

Just a moment after, Draugrs started to scream and charge towards wolves, which wolves answered with howls and advancement towards Draugrs.

I wonder who is unlucky enough to found it in self middle of a battle between a wolf pack and undead soldiers.

I started to run with all my strength to escape the side of the fight.

I dodged a swing from a Draugrs swing by jumping to the ground, then a wolf jumped just a meter right to me and shattered the neck of a Draugr.

What chaos, but no time to talk escaping is from this fight is my main priority right now.

The howl of the giant wolf stopped me for a second. The Giant Wolf bit and swallowed half of a Draugr just a second ago.

The existence of such a creature terrifies me.

I am risking my life by just standing here. I started to run again, dodged the bite of a wolf, and an arrow just tangent my face.

I threw myself into the deeps of the forest.

"Voice, if you hear me, please tell me what the fuck was that monster."

A giant wolf strong enough to bite a grown man into two, I doubt if I managed to survive here.

"Boss monsters are over evolved creatures."

I don't know how to answer that, is that thing thinks I am blind or something?

"Yes, over evolved creatures, I can see that now tell me the details."

I know you can also hear my thoughts, don't make another bad joke, or you will hear words you never heard before.

"Strange phenomenon called over evolve will make a creature better in any way than its usual counterparts. Killing or taming a boss monster has its rewards."

What kind of reward will I get if I kill a boss monster?

A Draugr appeared. Chest with a scar and an arm with some piece of it bit off.

Draugrs was slower than the one I killed before. It seems taking damage was affecting their strength.

Now for inspecting my enemy, a rust handaxe for the weapon, some tore clothes as armor. It will be an easy fight.

My father loved to collect old weapons such as flintlock rifles, swords, spears, etc. He also loved to teach me how to use this weapon when I was a child.

I have experience with these weapons, but I am far from being a master of using them.

Draugr charged towards me. I stabbed his chest with the tip of my Lucerne hammer, but Draugrs was still trying to hit me with his ax.

Undeads fierce doesn't affect by damages towards their bodies.
The only thing that changed was the red bar which got smaller after I stabbed the Draugr.

I couldn't even pull my weapon off from Draugrs chest because it keeps swinging his ax like a mad man.

I pushed my weapon forward, which caused Draugr to fall to the ground.

A hole in his chest, an arm half bit, and wounds that I couldn't even count the amount, but it still gets up.

I slashed the sharp part of my hammer towards the Draugr. It managed to dodge it, but I stabbed him from the face right after it stepped back.

It didn't do much because my body was in the wrong stance, but it gave me an opening. I dropped my hammer and charged towards the Draugr, and punched him from the face.

The creature was stunned after the punch, which allowed me to land more hits. An uppercut followed by a stomp to his knee caps.

Draugr screamed and fell to the ground. I stepped back and grabbed my weapon from the ground.

Now the monster is waiting for me to kill it. I swing my hammer, and the back piece (which is called falcon beak) penetrated Draugrs skull.

Now, I need to rest.

I sit on the snowy ground.

"My butt is freezing, but I don't care." I started to think about how I am one of the weakest creatures here. Creatures here either have an insane strength or a pack.

Some of them have insane durability like this Draugr here. It was already heavily wounded before the fight, I pierced his chest and stabbed his face, but I only managed to kill him after destroying his skull.

Skeletons, on the other hand, are just a joke when compared to all these monsters.

"Hey, I think you forget something?"

I heard the usual no rewards given after the fight.

"New quest is given. Kill the four boss monsters to survive."

"You need to be fucking kidding me?" It must be a joke. How could I kill something like that wolf?

"I escaped from just three Draugrs. How the fuck should I kill four boss monsters?"
