Oof, this is a very intense origin story! Understandable that, as a guardian of the Ajaira, he simply couldn't kill the people he was meant to protect. That he knew a way to kill Ajanis is honestly kind of scary, though! Killing a god, finding a way to trap their soul in their skull and use their spine as a staff?? It sounds like a really difficult feat to pull off! But maybe that was a test of his true allegiance, whether it was to the Ajaira people or to Ajanis, and the motivation to accomplish it came from that.
The God of the Ajaira has failed in keeping his people safe from the misfortunes caused by a dying cosmos-- Universe A. He agrees to join the Union of Gods so that his people's souls may be reincarnated into the new, "undying" Universe B. Problem is, he absolutely despises the other Gods, so it will be an incredible struggle for him to maintain his end of the deal. But... Would it be as difficult if he were introduced to the new universe through reincarnation, as a Spirit of another God?
