I took some liberties with panel 3 by having a dirt cloud explosion. An underwater explosion is simply a ball as the water is shoved aside then a woosh of water returning to that spot. Not very exciting and wouldn't get the point across very well. So a cloud with pieces flying out is what I went with.
I'm trying to enhance the impact of Zeep growing and absorbing the tradnert fragment by slowing it down and overlapping panels. Five more for this chapter, though I might shave off two pages, I don't know. I'm trying to reduce the pages so it won't take years to tell the story. My skill is quicker, but since spring has sprung I've been very busy.
It only took about an hour to do the three Zeeps, each panel takes about 2 or 3 hours, but finding the time to do them is something else. Often I have to wait until my demanding roommate is sleeping or at night when everyone is in bed and by that time I'm pretty tired myself so it makes it hard to focus.
Follow Zeep as he grows and evolves to explore his world. What surprises are in store for our little critter and what happened to the human race? Only time will tell.
