School had just ended and I learned nothing about the past. I assumed that the older I get the more I will learn about the past. In the end, I just walked back home and went to a secluded area to practice magic. I went over the basic magic I learned, which was tuned to the water and fire attributes. These attributes were the most useful in my previous world. If you could do water magic you would never be thirsty again, and with fire magic cooking was easy. Other than these 2 factors, water and fire were the strongest. With water magic, you could turn it into ice magic if you were skillful enough. This was one branch magic of water, and with fire, another branch magic was explosion magic. I was practicing creating ice, and to do this there is no instruction. It is unexplainable, and you can only do this from feel.
After practicing for an hour I went back inside. My parents would get worried if I was outside for too long, so I had to come back inside repeatedly. After coming back inside I was forced to take a shower, then I went back inside my room practicing making fireballs. This may seem dangerous, but I had water magic in case something went amiss.
The next day I went to my school and to my surprise we were having a field trip. This was unexpected, then I heard some of my classmates talking about how the day had finally arrived. I went over to them and asked what they were talking about:
Zell: What do you guys mean by 'the day finally arrived?'
???: Oh you don't know what we are talking about?
???: It's the day that we can see the prison of the bastard who tortured our ancestors.
Zell: What are you talking about?
???: I guess your parents never told you about that bastard named Katza.
Katza used to live in a world of magic. One day while crossing the flimsy dirt path that separated the slums and the "privileged" a carriage ran him over. Once dead he found himself in an empty white area. He couldn't feel nor hear anything. After being in this space for what seemed to be centuries he woke up again, but in the form of a newborn baby.
